Learn French by listening

Perfect! I was looking for audios to play offline while a text follows what is said. It's, in my opinion, the best way to train listening! The only thing that I want to suggest is the same as other users already pointed out: please implement pause & rewind commands instead of just play/stop. It would be a huge help! Good app, especially with the text to help follow. The pause button would be better if it paused and continued from where paused: instead, it goes back to the start. Having the rewind is an improvement, but being able to properly pause it to enable the learner to repeat the sentences would be even better.

This is a very good app. It helps the the learner to become more comfortable with listening comprehension as well as reading comprehension. There are many topics to choose from. For beginners, it is good to disect the text with a dictionary, then re-read. For the intermediate, it helps to just listen and try to keep up with the pace.

DONT EVER DOWNLOAD THIS when i first opened it somehow it was showing the text of one of my emails, then i restarted it and the screen locks... nothing works and the texts are extremely expensively charged.. now im afraid of having my account stolen or some sh** like that.

But you need to do something with the interface: display a player to be able to move back and forward, and a button to go back to questions (not next question) if you clicked on text, for example. Text could be bigger too. It's brilliant for advanced practice but very hard to use. And remarket it, so you don't get bad reviews from disappointed beginners.

Yes it throws you in the deep end, but it's exactly what I'm after. Can replay short pieces and slowly work out what I hear.

You have to pay 5€ for the text - every time! There are better apps out there & even better ways to improve your French. Uninstalling!

If there is less stars i'd have gave it ....how am i suppose to learn without seeing the text each time i ask for the text it asks for my credit card

Very nice and useful app! My French is Intermediate level and reading and listening to the French articles helps me alot in my progres You won't regret!

An excellent app modelled similar to the typical classroom oral comprehension exercises with an audio clip, exercises based on the clip and the transcription ( in the paid version). Scores high on all aspects except one - you are unlikely to hear back from the administrator no matter what the complaint, grievance, issues or doubt. I have found this very frustrating and there's no work around, you just won't hear back. Barring this, it's an extremely useful app and I haven't found anything similar elsewhere.
