Offline Survival Manual

Amazing app. Honestly the single best thing I've ever downloaded. From the app store or otherwise. If you are a camper, Hunter, or outdoorsman this is a must read. A huge variety of useful skills from basic medicine making, general first aid, edible plants. The list goes on. This is a free app too so you have no excuse. I would have gladly paid for it. The only drawback is I wish I had a hard copy of it!

This app is amazing- though can you add a chapter about what to do when you don't have any survival supplies? I mean, it's more likely to having to survive unprepared then prepared. Also pictures with the poisonous and edible plants would be very helpful as well. But around that, this app is such a help. It's organised and very, and the chapters are split very well. It's very descriptive- it has everything! It even is modernised, it's not the old survival guide. The developers did an amazing job, apps like this are not to be seen as much. Even though you think you don't need this app, I highly recommend it.

Everything about this app is great. I actually used it while camping when a bear ate all our food, and this app saved us from having to drive 6 hours to the nearest grocery store. The only thing I think this app desperately needs is visuals. Only describing an edible or poisonous plant is nothing compared to a picture of what I need to identify. Other than that, 100% of the info on this is true and very, very helpful.

Reasonable resource for some tough situations, another source to consider adding in is the SAS Survival Handbook - available on kindle and in print (for the technophobes in the family). I heartily encourage those who have been in these tough situations to contact the writter of this app and SHARE your knowledge. You coukd know the single, small thing that can save another in the future.

The information on the app is very limited and some of it is honestly dangerous. Sorry but you would be better off getting the Army field manual FM 21-76 Survival. I'd love to help with the information to correct errors and add content. Decent start, I will be happy to help with updates.

I really like the app, as it is extremely useful. The only problem is that a few weeks ago I attempted to use the 'search' option, and it suddenly stopped. Since then when I try to open it, it just says that it has suddenly stopped and never opens. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and nothing works. Is there a fix?

This is the only best survival offline manual there is and I'm happy to give it 5 stars. Although, I would like you to add some pictures of the poisonous plants so the identification becomes easier. I'm not saying high quality pictures, it could be sketches or so and same goes with few edible wild plants. Pictures makes things easier when you don't have much time (battery issues or injuries or dehydration or heat stroke) to read and identify for yourself. Other than that it's an awesome app.

There are several misspelled words, as well as grammatical errors. Some of the directions are worded very strangely. It does cover a wide range of topics, but they definitely need an editor.

Thank you for building this; it could come in handy if the Dotard throws a tantrum! I noticed in the FAQs that someone was apparently offended by you expressing your political views. They can write their own manual if that's an issue; last time I checked, the 1st Amendment is still in effect. You went to great lengths to put this together, and if you express an opinion, that is your Right. I wish there were more developers willing to tell it like it really is. Great app!

A wonderfully useful collection of survival information and knowledge in one convenient digitised package, available offline. Free from the usual annoying and useless advertising that wastes so much human talent, time and energy, which could instead be better directed at fixing the many global problems facing, and often caused by, humanity.

I love that this exist. Intro was well written and inspiring! Loved the peace building piece! Look forward to learning what I can from this guide and have a chance to add or help improve the info. Might take a stab at illustration if I see a chance and the extra time! Thanks for creating this!

This survivalist manual is excellent because it sets a base level for how to act in almost any situation. Weather in hostile or social setting, some helpful nugget of info lies in the palm of your hands (if only you know where to search). Extremely useful so 5/5

(NOTE: AT THE TIME I AM WRITING THIS, I HAVE NOT COMPLETELY READ THE FULL MANUAL.) In my opinion, this application is excellent in terms of its navigation, mobility, accuracy and education. I'd like to show my appreciation to the developer(s) as they have created this app to benefit the users and not themselves. There are no adverts included which allows users to use the app with no interruption, and the app has a maximum storage consumption of 10MB for the people who require a larger storage capacity for downloading more applications. First of all, the User Interface is perfect. I can easily navigate myself to the information that I need especially with the new search feature. This is very helpful for people who are using the application in a real-life survival situation or just need quick access to information. Second of all, the information here is very accurate. A lot of this information is also taught to soldiers who serve in the military but obviously their information is much more effective and advanced Lastly, the information here should be useful to practicly anyone who lacks the knowledge of survival. This makes it very educational. Overall, like I said; this application is excellent. It contains most (if not all) of the information yo should know at-least to improve and master your survival skills. So it's definitely worth using, if you haven't already. Much good content. I like how informative and practical this app is, and I think it's incredible that it is both free, ad-free, and offline. Thank you, developers. However, as a Bible believing/ following, born-again Christian I encourage everyone to seek adoption into the family of Almighty God for the only true peace of mind in the face of any crisis or catastrophe.

Amazing and offline. All the info you need to survive. If there isnt any way you can get your phone working it gives you an option to print the entire book. Highly recommend if any power outage or discharge is to happen

So developer Marcus, Is the "dangerous" leader of a global power Vladimir Putin or since you specifically mention refugees, are you referring to three President of the United States, Donald Trump? And you wonder why people want a wall on the U.S. southern boarder. It's to keep out terrorists of all stripes, colors, and creeds. If true refugees and immigrants apply to come in LEGALLY, your app is unnecessary!

In the 'Basic Medicine' category under the 'Bites and Stings' heading, it states that you must apply petroleum jelly to an attached tick for it to lose grab of you. DO NOT DO THIS. By applying a substance such as that of petroleum jelly on an attached tick, it increases the risk of it releasing diseases on you (whereas if you were not to do it, it would take 6 hrs for its contents to transfer). I extremely like this app, but please remove that part of the segment as it can prove harmful.

This app is probably the Most was impressed incredible app I've ever encountered. To say .I was impressed just after reading the introduction and reviewing the.content and.the amt of areas covered; would be a gross understatement I truthfully. Believe that on a scale of 1 to 5; this app is a10. And is a must if you have any adventures in you. To me it was like a breath off fresh air and yes Dorothy.. there still is a Santa Claus. Great app, but if I could make one suggestion, the options bar closes too easily. Even the slightest swipe right makes it close. Otherwise, it's fantastic!

Very good manual. I do agree the wars need to stop. However your wrong about one thing. Our President is not dangerous he loves our country and deserves our respect. The previous President has put the entire world in a precarious position with the Iran deal and letting the Arab spring create ISIS. Your heart is in the right place friend lets give him a chance. Most of the information is helpful, however the information provided for venomous snakebite treatment is outdated and inaccurate. Snakebite kits sold in survival/camping stores are worthless. Never utilize cutting or suctioning or a tourniquet. The recommended emergency first aid is for the snakebite victim to remain calm and quiet and seek professional emergency evacuation and treatment ASAP! I am the Vice President of the Tucson Herpetological Society and Red Cross Certified in CPR and First Aid. Please refer to the Red Cross for accurate treatment of venomous snakebite.

Pretty well rounded can't see if there's anything about trapping. Also improvised weapons and self defense/ basic hand to hand combat would be nice. And where.is the politics? Can find it.

Great resource, well written. I have one criticism though, in the basic medicine category it says plants may not provide a balanced diet, however, the academy of nutrition and Dietetics states that plants alone are healthful and nutritionally adequate for all stages of life. Therefore they are just as much of a balanced diet as omnivorous diets. If someone could change that, I would rate it 5 stars! Thanks!

This is the best survival manual I have found yet. It gives detailed information about how to survive in many different situations such as blasts, in water, etc.

Maybe I'm just dumb and can't find it but, I don't think this has any information on tying knots which I feel should be added, but again maybe I'm wrong.

Awesome. Even if you are not planning to go on a survival trip, it has hints to deal with everyday situations. And the talk about psichological issues really does apply to anyone.

Great app! As you said, with this crazy tyrant in control of a nuclear arsenal, we can't be too prepared! Thankfully we.have someone running our country who won't put up with his threats, and enough deployed girepower worldwide with our allies that if Kim Jong Un did decide to do something stupid, our great leader wouldn't hesitate to waste him! I feel SOO much better having a proven, no-nonsense, highly respected businessman in charge than I would if the libs would have managed to elect a documented lying, murderous criminal whose only desire was to sell out her own country and people for profit! DRAIN THE SWAMP!

Highly recommend this app for those who thirst for knowledge. Incredible amount of information, given that this app is accessible in the time of need.. Could save a life or simply make a survival situation much easier to manage.

Great app, especially when you use it offline which is important. It has extensive tips and tricks you can apply to most situations. With any app I would advise you use your judgment and use with caution.

Hands down the most amazing app in any category ever. Its for any sort of person: I used it to have fun in my farm once, minor things like north and south finding.

I think the best improvement to this app could be linked references, like with Wikipedia, where a certain word links to another article (in this case a section of the manual) in order to quickly flip through and find relevant information to the reading.

Advertising this app because of a 'dangerous man' with the nuclear codes is unprofessional, uncalled for, and carelessly incites fear among uninformed persons on the matter. Keep political opinions out of it please!

This is perfect for young people to get some sort of grasp of what to expect out in the bush. I actually learned a few things right away.
