This is a Widget to display the latest 3 Hourly Planetary(estimated Ap) K Indices from http://www.swpc.noaa.gov/ftpdir/lists/geomag/AK.txt to e.g. help UAS Pilots to be aware of possible GPS-Problems. Read more about that here: http://www.mikrokopter.de/ucwiki/en/SunStorm
The whole APP ist OpenSource and you can find the code on https://github.com/ligi/Solar-Activity-Monitor

Its hit and miss as to weather it gets info from provider. Lately (70%) just shows a blank bar where the widget is as no info available. Geting worse. Was the best. Main widget just has big X on it.

This is the best tool to monitor solar activity before making a flight with your UAV. The app is simple and elegant. It provides all the necessary data without cluttering up your screen. Love it.

Nice App, but it would be more perfect if there would be a 1x1 widget :-) Edit: GREAT! Thanks for 1x1 widget. BTW: Do you think on active alerts?

I downloaded it but it won't show me anything. It shows me what appears on the 2nd photo when you download it but nothing else.

The widget does not show up even though I can see it takes one of the "slots". Edit: Working perfect now after the update =)

Displays an 'X' where widget should be occasionally, but nice when it works. A few additions & a bit of work would improve. Great starter concept for a future paid app with some thought.
