LEO dictionary for Android
Once you pay for the annual subscription fee to get rid of the ads, this app is excellent. Miss an offline mode though, like in Google Translate.
Just a awesome help by reading books
The Chinese dictionary is not as comprehensive, still my first app to start when looking up a word.
I have subscribed to the ad-free version to support the LEO Team and maybe get an optimised interface, but it means also, that I expect absolutely NO ADS on my smartphone in the leo app. Because the ads are still coming, wasting my bandwidth, wasting screen space and blinking, the subscription has been cancelled and the app removed from my phone. The web browser with ad-free website is still a viable option.
The dictionary is one of the best. Few of the others show you the definite article with nouns - an absolute "must" for European languages. However the App isn't as good as the Web version. Less than half the words I looked up had an associated Speaker symbol allowing me to listen to the pronunciation. Maybe I'm a bit stupid, but I also can't get the Trainer to work - unable to save anything and can't find Help anywhere, not even via a Google search. And I do have an account.
I wouldn't mind paying for an offline dict, sadly there is no alternative. anyways great app. horrible icon :)
The app doesn't work. It's taking super long to search a word and it's not showing the translation. I deleted it and tried again. Any idea what should i do? I really like the online veraion.
Good app but the audio of pronunciation should be directly next to the word ( instead of at the back side). The "training" function should allow the users to add new words directly to their folder ( instead of opening the folder and type them). That'll help the user save more time.
I love this dictionary for it's great definitions, conjugations, and phrases. The trainer function is very useful for vocabulary building.
Wonderful app, but it doesn't allow me to log in to it. I have an account from the site and want to log in to the app. When I eneter the username and password it just closes the login tab and reopens it without any changes. Help.
My favorite German dictionary. This app helped me so much in college.
Leo is great! Best online dictionary! The app needs some UX improvement, but I am sure it will be in the future.

Hello! Can you please tell me, if it is possible to add another dictionary to the existing ones? I am learning Ukrainian, and unfortunately Ukrainian language is not part of the app yet. Are you planning to add this in the near future? Also can I create custom vocabulary lists in the app? I have not found that option yet. Thanks a lot for this otherwise really great app! :)
Help! It is the most wonderful help in learning Spanish, but all of a sudden the conjugarltion tables for the spanish verbs are gone!! Please set them back! I do see them in the german verbs, and in the English as well
Edit: they fixed the issue very fast Best German dictionary out there Latest update indicate that It contains a malware, Please fix
This is a great app but there s no easy sentences to get examples and the verbs are very difficult to get easily as well... Whatever we look for : should be always in a history as favorite as we will need to use another day... This app is very good but done by very amateur people and they have never travelled or learned another language.
It is what one needs if you want to improve any of your mentioned language. The content is just rich .
Virusscanner says latest update contains virus! Please fix!
My main reference but requires sentences references or traduction
Great app to practice my little german vocabulary
The issue seems to have been resolved. The app works perfectly fine. Really helpful.
Would be perfect if Save to trainer option worked.
Very good app to learn German Der, die, das
Best German dictionary app.
AWESOME
In general the leo app is very good and accurate about its translations but it drains the battery enormous. So be careful if you want a battery-draining app on your device.

The dictionary itself is quite good, the app with it's outdated UI and its "unique" color scheme not so much. The UX isn't great either, tapping on a forum discussion, for example, usually just leads the user to some sort of mobile homepage, not the discussion itself; retrying a couple times usually (but not always) works. The forums are an important part of what the app has to offer, though, as the dictionary entries are sometimes incomplete or missing.
