Enerfy for Android
Cool looking app with lots of nice functions love that it keeps track of all of my driving
Using Enerfy own ODB unit I can't connect. iODB2 works just fine so I have proven that the phone and ODB unit can connect. Edit: Android 6 permissions bug fixed now
Could log in now on Android 6, but no data from ODB even if green checkbox. If using another app the ODB data is ok. Drains battery, always in the topbar and cannot tell the app to quit (to not run in the background)...
Can't create account, neither by signing in directly nor with Twitter or Facebook.
Does not see my generic OBDII
Enerfy app workshop and is fun. A bit slow. But The recommended iodb2 app isnt connecting. So usage is impaired.
Connected to my elm327 but never gets a data stream.
OBD dongle connection over Bluetooth works fine. However, after driving, I have to force stop Enerfy to make the app shut down. The standard double-back does not shut down the app. It would also be nice to have an Enerfy community website to log in to where runs could be reviewed, analysed and compared. Having only the app on the phone is a bit myopic.
Due to no fault of Enerfy or XTOOL, the Enerfy/Xtool hardware will not work with pre 1998 Volvo 940 series cars. Between 1996 and 1998 these cars did have an OBD2 style socket - this was used to connect to a special Volvo tool and is completely incompatible with ANY OBD2 device.
No setting for metrics. Defaults to language... The app is overall slow when using it. Would be great if it could detect my driving automatically.
The new update is great. Loads of cool functions.
The app doesn't communicate with my OBD dongle! It only says "connect wait" on the drive screen... Torque, another app which communicates with the dongle, works perfectly. Any ideas what to do?

It draws A LOT of power and the app is not even optimized for android. It lacks consistency troughout the app. Trash to be honest.
