About wwWidget
The app allows you to:
1) retrieve a snapshot image of an arbitrary website
2) cut out that region of the website which you want to show as a widget on your home screen
The selected region will then show as a widget on your homescreen an update periodically.
IMPORTANT: For this app to work, you need to set up a HTTP(s) server on a (Dyn)DNS-enabled RaspberryPI.
The server (binary and sources can be found here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/khttpd/files/
There is also a short wiki explaining how to set up the server.
After you're done setting up up your server, open the app's preference screen and enter your server URL and password.
Have fun!
