Massive amount of ads :( Extremely annoying. Tricks you to click the ads, by showing the ads at random places by shifting the mail list.

The best email client and it just gets better and better.

It is very good and easy to use

Liked the product so much that I bought it within half an hour of installing free version. My only complaint with program is that there is no way to split the smart folder into starred folder and unread emails folder. Otherwise it syncs perfectly with my mail server, notifications work, its extremely fast to sync email and you can configure each email account to the nth degree with things such as weekend settings. It was nice to be able to customise the colours to suit my taste.

Best email app without question. I have used it for years and recently tried replacing it with other top rated apps. What a mistake. Nothing comes close to the power and ease of use provided by Aqua. Developer is responsive and understands how to deliver a great user interface while providing extensive functionality. Has the best conversation mode as well. Oh, and no bugs. Well, the dev does release bug fixes but I have never experienced a crash or an error. Settings are extensive and complex but everything works very well with the default setup.

Better than most desktop clients. Excellent and powerful mail client, very configurable and easy to dig I to if you need to customize things. Also works like modern apps by default. Even saves drafts to the Exchange Server and far less troublesome than Microsoft Outlook. Supports mouse and keyboard operation very well. I use this on my tablet, both on the go and hooked up to a monitor/mouse/keyboard.

Just need a few changes like adding a scheduler to schedule messages for a particular day, so that they can be addressed later. Apart from that, it's perfect :-) Edit - All of a sudden it started showing ads on the free version. It's better to move on to some other client than get disturbed by the ads when I use this for my official emails.

By far the best email app for Android. Much better than Gmail or any other competitor. Gmail kept showing up deleted messages in my inbox that drove me crazy. I had to delete the same message 3-4 times just to get rid of it. This app never had a problem like that. It also contains many levels of customizations that I use. No other app comes even close to it.

Last update made the advertising horrendously obtrusive. So I encourage users to not bother installing it unless you are planning on paying for the app. If you want a free mail client do not use this. I have used this for years and I get the developer needing money to continue to improve the app but it should be clear somewhere the free version has high levels of advertising and the app is intolerable without upgrading to the pro version.

The look, functionality and ability to customize are the best I have seen in a free email client. I especially appreciated the swipe to delete function. I used the free version for a couple of years and was very happy with it. I was surprised and disappointed when undeleteable ads suddenly appeared in my inbox which makes the free version totally unacceptable. However, since I have had such good luck with the application over the past two years, I decided to purchase the pro version.

Used to be 5 stars. Not any more. The sudden apperance of ads mixed into your message list and, even worse, added into message content is a step too far in terms of intrusiveness. Pro version is too expensive to pay for the limited functionality additions, and isn't worth it to remove ads, so I'm moving elsewhere and uninstalling this once great app.

I was using this app since ages now. Agreed ads generate revenue, but your free version already had a lot of features disabled. Plus a mandatory signature. Now the ads are coming after every 4 emails. That's like too much. The reason i was using aqua mail was it was free and non intrusive. Time to find a new app.

Overall I like Aqua Mail. I use it as my main mail client with gmail and it does everything I need. There is one annoyance though: Google changes the SSL certificate very often. I know that, because the app asks me for confirmation every time. That gets old very fast.

Is there anything this can't do? So many options, but best of all is the 'recently changed settings' screen, so it's easier to change something and undo it if it's not right. Bravo. I'm using this as a move away from Gmail app, which is too limited for my use.

Useless...rating 0 stars I can never open an email and read it. Attachments are missing, text is micro, show linked images? then it wants to know how much do I want it to download. I have made the necessary changes in settings. did not hear back from support. uninstallining.

This was an excellent email client, until it started showing ads hidden among the emails. This is so annoying, it actually forces you to buy the client or move on to another one. Considering it's freaking expensive, most people won't buy it and will move on. I expect the app to be abandoned soon, so no point in buying it.

Been using aqua mail for years and never had an issue always loved the interface until today when you decided if would be a good idea to insert ads between email messages. What were you thinking besides wanting to destroy a great email application that worked fine. Good job selling your soul for $$$, embarrassing.

Works seamlessly, flawlessly. Controls of every aspect of email messaging are outstanding! Beats Gmail's text formatting and everything else that Google Does Not Offer, Aqua Mail DOES! Aqua Mail is ten times better, at least, than the Google "InBox" app. OR, the Yahoo Android app. I'm impressed!

Annoying Ads recently started appearing in my inbox. Maybe one ad for every 7 emails. Kind of in your face and no way to delete. Have used aqua mail for a couple of years but deleted today. There are plenty of other free email apps where the junk is not forced upon you.

Once it was one of the best my favorite app. Recent update they started showing ads which causes very disturbing while viewing official mail. And they also increased pro price from 300+ to 600 +. I moved from blue mail client to this app. Now it's time to find a new app.

This app was excellent but now doesn't remember portal settings for Gmail after every use. Doesn't always inform you that mail has failed to send as a result and vital mail has ended up stuck in drafts. Bit of a liability sometimes. Everything else was excellent although Google smart folders would be cool.

Kinda over it. Adds right in the middle of the email list is a bit much. Maybe if your app didn't use 26% of my battery one day whole the next using 4.8% I could overlook some things but you want 10 bucks to kill my battery? Now that is some lofty thinking boys.

Like everyone else, this was by far the best until the last update where your inbox list has ads every few emails. I accept there has to be ads in a free app, but these are far too obtrusive I feel. Going to look for something else after years of using this app, you're alienating your users!

EXACTLY what I needed. Handles multiple accounts and combines inboxes. Deletes from server, has super intuitive and easy to use view/nav. Just love it. 9/19/17 Update: still love the app overall, but can't stand the new ads mixed in with my list of emails - very disuptive.

Old review: Please remove the go pro banner. I've recommended this app to everyone I know because of its reliance and customisation options. I'm not sure I agree with the ongoing philosophy the new devs have. EDIT: I'm proven right by the fact that ADS have now been ADDED in what I believe is a very annoying way. (I admit not very intrusive) I will uninstall this otherwise great app. I miss Kostya.

I used to like this app (not perfect, but 4stars worthy). A few weeks ago they changed how ads are displayed. They are now in line with the inbox, instead of at the bottom, making it easy to accidentally click on one. Those ads also use a different font and are able to flash, etc, pulling your eye to them when you are trying to scan the list of messages. Then, when you open the email there is an ad covering up to 2/3 of your message with no way to minimize or clear it. I held on for a few weeks, hoping they would update, but no luck. I am now on the hunt for a new email app.

The personalization, depth of options and continuous improvement make this the absolute best email option available. Every other email option falls short. This is a pure mail app that works seamlessly across every email provider. Frequent updates and a focus on security pushes this app to the top over and over.

Stay away from the free version... Shady business practices made me uninstall. They add ads to each individual email now, and to your inbox display, making them much more invasive than before. They then accompanied that with a 50% discount notification to the pro version a few days after the change. Aquamail used to be servicable for free users (which is why this doesn't go lower than a 3) but is utterly unrecognizable following the most recent changes and I'd rate a 2 for the current version

Was great, used for years but the new update adds unwanted advertising every few emails to your inbox list. Way too often end up clicking on the ad by accident, not to even mention it clutters the list of mails for those of us receiving a LOT of email.daily.... Horrible update.

Superb! This is hands down the best android email client for serious email productivity across multiple accounts. It's insanely customisable and allows me to run my business as if I was using a fully blown version of Outlook on the desktop. I absolutely recommend it to anyone who has tried all the other email clients like Nine, Outlook, K9, Newton etc and have found them lacking.

I appreciate that the developers need to earn income for their efforts but the suddenly appearing ads inside the inbox list that appear as multiple emails (so you can accidently click on the ad while perusing emails) and ads INSIDE the received emails is simply too much. Good app otherwise, I like the interface, but I'll be deleting and finding something with less obtrusive adverts. Was a 4/5 before, with new obtrusive ads it's a 1/2

Good, but updates might make me uninstall. On the free version the advertising has become intrusive which makes this app unusable. If it does not improve then I'll just use another better mail app.

After literally trying every email client out there and experiencing issues with notifications and push, this seems to do it. While the ads are intrusive on the free version and the pro is pricey, it's still a solid app. It's incredibly customizable (almost to a fault) and has a very rich Help/FAQ. I love the split pane view option. I will say I do not use this for business, but personal mail accounts. Unless you purchase the pro, you can't remove the advertising signature. For those in business who have to use a signature format, this will be an issue. LG Style 3 phone, Android 7.0 platform, which does have reported issues with notifications not working. So far so good.

It's been a great app until recently, but now the adverts are too intrusive, being mixed in with normal emails, rendering the app difficult to use. I can't really complain too much, as I've used this app free for a number of years, and if it was cheaper, I'd buy it to remove the ads. If this issue isn't resolved I'll be moving to another app.

Has not disappointed yet. Can be challenging to set up but is excellent with handling multiple email accounts. So feature laden I'm sure I'm not taking full advantage of all it can do. Please only get better (unlike other email apps I've tried).

Great app but no contact birthday sync with exchange. Sadly this is a must feature for me so i will continue looking for other mail app. new review: i liked the app so much i bought it but am forced to run contacts sync with another app for the missing contact fields from exchange server.

What's with all the ads?! I've been using this app for years and now ads are everywhere in my email list! Looked on play store for another and ran across Blu Mail! AWESOME! No ads, more features, and best of all FREE! if you can't stand the new ads with this (once upon a time 5 star app) , try Blu mail.

This is sleek and more modern. Nicely done! Great customization of just about anything you can think of, with fill folder access. Latest release gives the app a smooth, refined look. Nice job! Use for my business and also great for personal. Wonderful!
