A couple of small bugs. The return indicator on the sub pages doesn't work, and the location puts me 12000kms away from the warning area. Apart from that it gives details quickly in a well set out form. Will definitely keep it and use it often.

Great app, but the active fire markers are not working on the map section at the moment. Can this be sorted due to current active fire. Not sure if this is because I am in a different state.

Z70%
by Z####:

Well at first it worked awesome no problems, very quick and accurate, but now the map doesn't show the location of the fires and my position is put 12000km away so a little bit annoyed with that

Z70%
by Z####:

Great app, easy to use! All it needs is the ability to select area/s to get notifications about dfes alerts.

U70%
by U####:

But why do'es it show 12507km from my location to where every incident is.Should it not show the true distance from my location?.Is the feed based overseas?Needs to be rectified.

J70%
by J####:

It is great peice of mind not having to race home worried about the fire location, can relax and current updates will keep you in the picture.

A necessary app and much easier than going onto the DfES website. Just needs customised notifications...

The map served no purpose. Provided my location but not the location of anything else.

Apart from it giving us12,000kms away......

Absolutely useless on my Samsung S6. Map wouldn't load, data wouldn't load, whatever would load took forever. Not what you need if you are trying to keep tabs on an emergency situation in your area. Uninstalled in favour of Emergency AUS app, which is absolutely spot on.

Z70%
by Z####:

Great idea but the location puts me 12500km away when the distance is more like 12km from some events. The feed doesn't seem to be as current as DFES website. Not sure I would want to rely on this. Will stick to radio and DFES website. Uninstalled

Doesn't show where the fires are on the map anymore

I had my notification settings set at 200 km and never got any because it shows nearly everywhere as 12000km away even though it knows I'm in Perth

Running this on my Nexus and it regularly stops working. I've found that when I 'Mark As Read' the alerts, they continue to highlight as if they are new alerts. I will persevere because it's a great idea.
