I installed this in my mytouch 4g and it works perfect. My phone moves at top speed and no issues at all. Please note you need root access.

Overclocks, but doesnt change profiles automatically, like set cpu does, think i will stick with set cpu, tried loads of these apps, uninstalled. Not what im looking for, tried pro version, crap, got refund, didnt change profiles automatically.

I tried a few overclock programs for my crappy tablet, this was the only one that didn't hang it, set it at maximum speed and immediately noticed the difference in my apps, made my pad usable. Funny thing is that cpu-z doesn't report a different clock speed (still stock) but I do notice the difference, youtube works great and so does facebook (via browser, app is terribly slow). Thanks! Edit - Cpu-z may not detect the change, but Quadrant Standard (benchmark) proves it, 1271 un cpu vs 1470 after.

does this app let you overclock? yep. will the widgets let you switch between overclock profiles? they used to a few months ago but now, well, it'll only work after opening the app and force closing it when it hangs, which defeats the purpose of the widget.

UI needs work. There is no way to add more than one profile in the current version. So you have to keep editing the same one over and over. Very painful. Also it doesn't actually let you "overclock" or even do any voltage tuning. It just lets you specify the CPU range the governor can choose from. (It doesn't even let you specify the governor or zRam, etc.), but the range stuff seems to at least work. Definitely in need of some TLC from the developer though!!
