Jitsi Meet for Android
Works very well, you can run the web version on practically any device. Desktop sharing works great, occasionally there are firewall issues with very protected network, except for that strongly reccomanded!
Anyone can join the room I might have named ABC for example and we end up having intruders into our conference. I have set password but then audio stops completely, only video works and this goes on until I remove the password and re-open the app. This is an insecure conferencing. Is there a solution?
Bout to join some rando conferences and learn me some new knowledge
Excellent performance. Good quality.
Super
Excellent quality app for conf. calls. Also has a shared editable note pad. Highly useful for briabstorming as a group. This feature as well as being open source made it stand out from thw crowd for me. It is why I went with Jitsi Meet.
App version cannot read texts. App version cannot change volume. Too quiet, need a volume boost tool. Web version users can name themselves, not on app. Jitsi is great service looking fwd to more developed app.
Crashed or froze every 10 seconds. Nexus 6p. Seriously frustrating, won't be trying it again
This app just got auto rejoin. That's huge! Thank you team
Great starting point for something bigger
Immediately turns on a front-facing camera on start, before even logging in. That is a horrible UI decision in 2017, and instantly lets you know how much regard Atlassian has for your privacy.
Great apps, easy to use, conferencing ????, secure connection it got all.I recommended for every one. Thank you.
Works great, easiest download and go I ever saw and I've written software since 1979. A work of art.
Does not work on Samsung S3 phone, cause phone reboot.
I love the service, but app is quite far behind. On tablet screen control disappears and back button does not allow you to close app. Also it would be great to have room name already auto-generated like on a web site.
Our telephone overheats.
It's super!
I like it!
The app doesn't support granting permissions as they are needed so it automatically gets telephony, storage, camera and microphone access. I would prefer it to explain where it needs those and ask for them as the camera is enabled by default in conferences (option to disable it by default would be nice too) and the only way to not have it in the beginning of the call is removing the permission and getting a warning on the app possibly not working properly for being designed for an older version of Android. Otherwise it lets you join meet.jit.si conferences and hear and see the other members, I am not sure if the website has text chat, if it does, it's not shown in the app, and thus I think it's a good app.
Happy to see Atlassian putting some effort into Jitsi Meet. Was pleasantly surprised to see that an Android app even existed. Almost fully featured, but still missing a few things from the "desktop" browser interface, such as the ability to set your name and Gravatar.
There seems to be an issue connecting to a private server even with the complete url. I will reserve my final rating until I see a few versions released
It joins to the meeting but I can't talk or listen. I also don't send or receive video.
Great easy communication
String echo, making the app useless.
Useless with pc
No chat. I was told jitsi could replace skype but skype allows me to chat with people jitsi does not. I dnt have a laptop. Come on it's 2017
You guys do better with every update! You're Brilliant!!! Please add slider to boost volume audio for us with crappy earphones
typical atlassian software - if you're fed up with crappy apps like jira or confluence, don't try it.
This application is crashed always
No chat. No change name. No share link.
This app sounds Asian .....
Is good this for vidio call
Love IT
Easy to use
simple, secure, free software
I tried to type in my meeting link and it didn't work.
Love the simplicity of this app. Volume is a little low on my LG Escape 3.
Have been waiting for this for quite a long time
It's here!
