The app is pretty good in terms of ease of use. The clarity you get on your phone is horrible. I understand that you will lose some quality and will not even get a 720p picture, but from my Note4 it is incredibly grainy. I also understand that is not the quality of the video taken. The actual mp4 is great quality, however I cannot play them on my phone. Also some menu features are missing in the App that are accessible through the camera itself. I am really wanting to be able to enable TV out through the app on my phone so I don't have to take it off the gimbal of my Quad, then put back on. Developers please put the feature of being able to turn TV Out off and on through the app.

The app has a lot of future potential with some major updates necessary to fix a lot of bugs. Some examples.. 1-Can not download videos from camera to phone. 2-When activating a recording from phone, after a while the camera totally freezes and needs to restart, this recorded video on the camera also freezes when played. Hopefully these, and other bugs will be fixed soon...

Works with the SJCAM SJ4000+, and better than de SJCAM app itself. Just expect some lag and artifacts while liveview, specially on slow devices or long distances.
