Why did the owner of sagetv say all are delighted with Google take over when so many existing customers were screwed and left with an unsupportive product ? What a shaft that was. So many invested hardware and their time on sagetv only to be left holding the bag.

Frequent crashes on all my new devices whenever I try to view certain Phoenix views (e.g., scheduled recordings). Also, it starting consuming large amounts of background data for now apparent reason. It went through 1.5GB over the last 2 days.

Overly complicated setup unless you know how to tweak sagetv. Lack of detailed instructions with cryptic answers from forum. They assume everyone is on their level of expertise. When it worked it was OK, but very basic playback via third party app. No control over video what so ever. Play and stop. That's it.

Not perfect but a good atempt. Some options need development to work properly and Sage configuration via quick start guide is incomplete. SageTV forum leaves a lot to be desired re. Posting and feedback but author responds quickly to emails.

Not only is the regular fxnlty awesome, I can stream my OTA HD Homerun recordings to my Nexus 7!

Streaming on my Samsung Galaxy 2 10.1 works great, and that's the one thing I really wanted. Looking forward to seeing what else gets added as you go!

SageTV has always seemed like a hidden gem that too few people know about. The fact that cool features like phone/tablet support get added to this "enthusiast" platform makes me love it more every day! Great job with this app!
