IQ2US Debates for Android
For some reason, this super helpful status bar when listening to a podcast to let you go forward or back is gone now, so if your connection gets disabled, you have to start all over. Bring it back!
This is a fantastic application, and I enjoy listening to all the debates and inquiries on this application. Sometimes, I have specific questions that I ask myself and wonder if they're featured on Intelligence Squared. Unfortunately, I cannot do that!
Essential.
It may not be the best running app, but you get this for whats on the inside. The. Best. Debates. Available.
A free app that contributes positively to screen time. If you reflect on life's issues, you will use this app
I wish political debates were like this.
I hesitated at first since if you are having uneducated low intellect c##ts like Laura Ingraham on your broadcast I can't take it seriously. And I'm a 99%er and Republican saying this. But the material for the most part is rich and the debates rife with mindfood.
...I really wish there was a way to download the podcast so I can listen without using my phone's data plan.
Requires too many permissions. For what purpose???
Getting -504 exception
After using to marshmallow it fails to install
4 stars.. Because, I got an updation notification, and as I updated, all my podcast lost. Uninstalled and downloaded the app again, also got IQ2US app with an empty 'Listen to podcast' category.!! What's going on... I like IQ2US. Without podcasts, the app is useless.. Give me a solution.
The app works well and it's nice to have the entire list of previous debates. That being said you need to have the latest debate available when it goes up on the website as well as not waiting weeks to see the latest debate only getting short bits in the meantime. Another thing that would be great is the ability to download the debate/podcast for local play.
Somewhat unstable performance, generally a good app
I love these debates but the functionality is lacking to listen to podcasts when I'm on the go. Perhaps learn from sports podcasts as their sheer number of programs has really allowed for them to do the podcast concept in an extremely mobile-friendly manner.
One of my very favorite podcasts, but the app doesn't add much. Meanwhile, it spams Android with notifications and you can't turn them off. Am interested in the Virtual Q&A and Debate & Discuss functions but the implementation is awkward. Looking forward to future iterations!
Great program, the app stops playing files halfway through
The contents of IQ2Square is fantastic, particularly other versions of the show. On my Moto X 2nd Gen, Search and video functionality of the Android app is sketchy at best. I typically have problems with video playback and full screen mode crashes. For now I will enjoy the show on Mac or Windows machine instead !!
My only issue is that the podcasts will just stop working about half way through and you have to restart the app. Also an interface issue there is no way to bring the podcast player back up if you access other apps. Also to the people wondering why the app needs permission to access the camera and microphone, it's so the app will stop playing when you start to take a video and such.
What I'd like to see is a search option to find a specific topic unless, I'm missing it in the app somewhere
The app works well and has some neat features like keeping remembering where a person left off when they stopped watching a video. That being said you need to have the latest debate available when it goes up on the website. Another thing that would be great is the ability to download the debate/podcast for local play.
Exactly what I was looking for. Keep challenging the mind. Great layout and updates in a timely manner
It may not be the best running app, but you get this for whats on the inside. The. Best. Debates. Available.
Requires too many permissions. For what purpose???
Problems with the live stream, listen to replay when available.
Fun, intelligent, easy!
Unacceptable. Uninstalling until you fix this.
Great functioning app ... Raising the level of debate for the public good
Camera & microphone permissions hidden in a simple podcast app is a red flag for spyware. I listened to the debate on domestic spying by the NSA. NPR = NSA. Uninstalling IQ2US, but I'll keep listening to the debates with the DogCatcher app.
Love it!!
I really love how IQ2 actively promotes a richer and more robust public discourse. I really like the app, I'm just experiencing one technical problem. When I leave one of the debate podcasts on, it locks my phone leaving it completely unresponsive, and the only way it becomes responsive again is if I turn the device off and back on again.
Engaging, intelligent, civilized discourse on a broad range of heated public interests.

Great App. Awesome interface. It would help if we are able to access ALL the debates though not just a few.
