Spoken House

Spoken House è un'applicazione di supporto a utenti con disabilità visive e/o uditive, sviluppata in collaborazione tra Informatici Senza Frontiere e l'Università degli Studi del Sannio. La sua interfaccia a 4 angoli, insieme ad una voce guida elettronica, permette un facile utilizzo e una agevole navigazione all'interno dell'applicazione.

Accessibilità:
* Interfaccia suddivisa in 4 parti uguali, ognuna corrispondente ad un angolo del dispositivo;
* Aumentare o diminuire la grandezza dei caratteri del testo visualizzato;
* Cambiare il tema di default con altre combinazioni di colori ad alto contrasto;
* Attivare la voce elettronica come supporto per la navigazione;
* Attivare la codifica dei messaggi in codice Morse attraverso la vibrazione;
* Attivare la codifica dei messaggi in italiano segnato;
* Visualizzare dei video guida dell'applicazione in lingua dei segni;
* Attivare il controllo vocale per cambiare lo stato degli oggetti in casa.

Per un corretto funzionamento dell'applicazione, sul computer di casa o su un microcontrollore (ad esempio, Raspberry Pi) deve essere installato Freedomotic (versione 5.6.0-rc3), ovvero un framework domotico. Attraverso Freedomotic è possibile controllare i dispositivi elettronici presenti all'interno della casa.

Per poter collegare correttamente lo smartphone a Freedomotic, durante il primo accesso all'applicazione sono richiesti dei parametri:
* Indirizzo IP e porta della macchina (personal computer o microcontrollore) sulla quale è in esecuzione Freedomotic;
* Username e password utilizzati per accedere alle funzionalità di Freedomotic.

L'ultima novità di Spoken House è il controllo vocale! Dopo aver attivato questa modalità nelle impostazioni, premendo un qualsiasi tasto fisico del controllo del volume, potrà essere mandato un comando vocale all'applicazione per gestire più comodamente gli oggetti presenti nel framework. Questa modalità per il momento permette solo l'accensione/spegnimento o l'apertura/chiusura di alcuni oggetti. La struttura di una tipica frase riconosciuta dall'applicazione prevede un verbo come prima parola (ad esempio, "apri" o "accendi") e poi il nome dell'oggetto da comandare, oltre il nome della camera e del piano in cui si trova (esempio completo: Apri la porta del soggiorno del primo piano).

Its interface to 4 corners, along with an electronic voice guidance, allows easy use and an easy navigation within the application.

Accessibility:
* Interface divided into 4 equal parts, each corresponding to a corner of the device;
* Increase or decrease the font size of text displayed;
* Change the default theme with other combinations of colors, high contrast;

* Activate voice control to change the state of objects in the house.

For proper operation of the application, on the home computer or on a microcontroller (such as Raspberry Pi) must be installed Freedomotic (5.6.0-rc3 version), which is a home automation framework. Through Freedomotic you can control electronic devices within the home.

In order to properly connect the smartphone to Freedomotic, during the first access to the application you are required parameters:
* IP address of the machine door (personal computer or microcontroller) on which it is running Freedomotic;
* Username and password used to access the Freedomotic functionality.

The latest addition to Spoken House is the voice control! After activating this mode in the settings, by pressing any hardware button volume control, you will be sent a voice command application to handle more comfortably objects in the framework. This mode allows for the moment only the on / off or opening / closing of some objects. The typical sentence structure recognized by the application requires a verb as the first word (eg "open" or "turn on") and then the name of the object to be controlled, as well as the name of the room and the floor where is located (complete example: Open the door of the living room of the first floor).
