Ovo timer

I love the app. It's minimalistic, looks great and it's easy to use. But it mutes itself in the middle, as another review mentioned. I thought the timer was a few minutes late at first but sometimes it doesn't go off until I interact with my phone. Please fix this as soon as possible. Edit: uninstalled the app.

I wish this app was stock. So wonderful and easy to use. Perfect when you've got one messy hand and one dry on in the kitchen. Unfortunately, this is no longer an option for Google Voice actions. Makes me a but sad. Hopefully it gets reenabled!

This app is really great, except for one thing - the numbers are in the middle of the circle you're drawing and you can't see them when your thumb or finger is at the top of the circle! Makes it hard to set the timer to the right amount when you're stopping your thumb in that location. It would help to get the numbers OUT of the center of the circle.

If the app also showed the real time wrt to timer it would be awesome. Sometimes we want to be alerted at certain time eg 2 pm and i have to do maths after how may minutes its going to be 2 pm for the timer to setup.

Annoying. I deleted it. You can't preset the time. It has a 2:00 default. You change to what you want and it immediately starts up. I want to be able to set the time. And then say when to start. And if there is to be a default, then I want to be able to set it myself. 3:00, the time for tea and eggs, makes a lot more sense than 2:00, whatever that is for.

Used to increase my working efficiency. Just pronounce the duration you want to spend on a task, the timer starts by itself and does the job. No ads, just perfect!

It works OK but it's annoying that the timer starts counting down as soon as you select the desired time.

It's a really great app, I use it all the time. My only complaint is that you can't save timers. If you could, it would make this app perfect to me.

I wish it could remember multiple timer but then again that would ruin the simplicity. 5 stars even for what it is now.

And so intuitive, gave me no chance to think how to use it. I found myself in the process of setting time immediately after I launched it.

I just wanted a timer that makes a beep and stops, but that was too much to ask Samsung for apparently. Thanks for this free ad less stylish timer. Appreciated

Nice and simple. If I were to be greedy I would love to see a widget that I can use to set my frequently used times going? I'd pay a little for that

It puts the control back in your hands with out being too complicated.

Excellent Timer app! I feel there is only one feature missing that would make it perfect for me. I would love if it had an option to display a notification of current time remaining. This way I could press my phone's power button and quickly see how much time is remaining without unlocking the phone. Love this app!

Well you can only give whole stars in your ratings bit I say 4.5 stars Only reason it didn't get 5 stars is that it has a 1 hour maximum, everything else is great, doesn't seem to be effected by other app operating and a very cool user interface, also no adds or anything intrusive, I'll run it for a while, if it works without problems I'll definitely donate

Have Google open it, set it with my thumb and I am good to go. Nothing simpler.

Loved the look immediately on downloading it. Simple. Actually too simple. One extra thing like the ability to set a warning at a chosen time before zero would make it perfect for meetings and timing speakers at conferences.

Clean interface, stable, and straightforward. There's little more to say. It is purely count down from a max of an hour, and that's all. Know that if you want something else outside of the scope of this that you will not find it, but for this purpose it couldn't be better.

the good thing u can exit the app but time we will be working or u can stop timer again and again what i wanted. @@@@@@@@@$$@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@sir but if possible next update make settings in app like this that u can set task by name and u can keep track of that how much time u have spent on it and u can even resume that time and sir please even after exit the app should keep data of timer.

60 minutes limit kills it, in bad sense... Sometimes cooking takes more than an hour... Have to use timely alarm clock... Because of android's timer alarm sound, which is too rough.

Please show fractions of the hour, i.e. half a circle for half an hour... That way the graphical representation helps much more.

Best timer I've used. Sadly not stable on Android 6, it crashes at times.

This is REALLY pretty and it works like a dream. I would like it to have the option to turn on the screen when time's up and to be visible in the notification bar, but it wouldn't be fair to mark it down based on something I would like that don't bother others. If you want a beautiful and fun timer, this is the way to go. And it's free!

Edit: btw I noticed it usually only happens when I interact with my phone before the timer ends and my turning off method is 'Alarm until interaction'. Maybe it has something to do with that.

This app screams it because it's a quick way to set up a timer. I've been using this since 2012! Too bad there is no Android Wear support. :( I think the dev bailed.

Perfect if I can set the default start time.

I really love this app because it tells u what time u have left (like all timers) and when I coach my Friends on running It is really good help (i love this app)

I dislike it very much .There is no good option for setting time .

Downloaded it to time a 2 hour task. Only after downloading did I get to know that it times tasks that are for a maximum of 60 minutes.

Cool design, simplicity and function.

The same work I used to done with playing songs, like before complete a song I need to complete this task. But this app gave me more flexibility in task completions. Saved lot of time. This is what I am thinking from many days. You are exactly brought up the things what people required. Hats off... You are rockz... UI also very simple

A widget option would come in quite handy...

I like the look of this timer but, it's useless to me because it keeps muting itself mid-way through. Every time I open the app I have to unmute it, but then I check on the timer 5-10 minutes later and it's muted again. Have been through all my settings and can't think what else to try. Dissappointed. Any help would be appreciated.

Since Google timer sometimes works, sometimes doesn't, and since it has turned way too "colorful" and "cute" for my own taste, I've found just the perfect replacement in Ovo timer. It is simple, light, has a DARK UI, looks great, has a fun and clever way for setting times, is NOT annoyingly colorful, it's reliable and it's FREE. Though, sometimes my finger doesn't let me see the numbers clearly but... I can live with that. Thanks for NOT going with the Google trend

Should add a countdown timer in the Notifications so users can check remaining time without having to open the app. App should also include ringtones of its own.

I love this thing. The voice input is great when I need it, but I often find myself manually twirling my finger around instead because it's so satisfying. The only improvements I could possibly think of would be a widget and an option to keep it in the notification area when active.

Very good timer app! If you're looking for a simple timer, this is the app for you. And it's so simple and intuitive to change the length of time it's great even if you need to mix up your timer lengths on the fly all the time. One KEY THING MISSING -- it would be great to see Ovo in your Android status bar so you have a reminder it's running / how much time is left on the timer without having to load the timer.

Love this thing. I tried a load of timers but my wife couldn't turn any of the others off. This one has a unique operation - simply intriguing to touch and use. I find myself setting times just for the sake of it. One fix needed: It stops even though set to wait for interaction.
