iCell for Android
I like this 3D rendering of animal, plant, and bacteria cells. There are not enough thing like this for Android. The developer should make more for biology and for chemistry. How about 3D molecule building. Basically, go to University of Utah Genetics website and do things similar as Apps.
I have a learning disability and struggled in school; the sciences in particular. Had this technology been as accessible then as now, I would have been so much more confident in my academic abilities. Even better would be to have narration.
Using a galaxy s6, won't open. I used to love this app for my 7th graders but on my new phone it crashes immediately. I've tried uninstalling and re-downloading several times.
Im a Biology Lab assistant, my boss is a Microbiology instructor. He was blown away at how you can manipulate the cells. He put the app on his iPad, its neat!
This won't even open on my phone. I have an LG G2, so it's not that old, but I get the message that the app has stopped before it even has a chance to load. Not impressed.
It amuses me especially in the plant. Only 1 little problem. There are only 3 things to look at. Add more then this will become 5 stars
Says "Unfortunately, icell has stopped" whenever I tried to use it. I have tried many different things. Restarting my phone and reinstalling the app to name a few examples. Please fix!
Doesn't let me into the app, fix it and I will give you five stars.
This is a very cool application. The 3D images were done well. Helpful for possibly an introductory student and anyone with trouble visualizing a cell, but not a lot to learn for someone with knowledge of basic biology.
Was told I could use as reference for flashcards every time I try to open the app it says "unfortunately icell has stopped" and i can't fix in any way shape or form deserves a zero
I absolutely love this app. My only thing is that it isn't sensitive enough when touching parts of the cell. Other than that, it's awesome!
I wish they would add viruses and other microorganisms. Overall, a decent app.
Really nice to be able to get 3d impression by turning cell around. Would be nice if like cell wall you were able to add only the organelles that should be studied in the picture.
Every time I open the app, it "stops working". Not a single time has it worked.
App wrong open REeeEEee
I would give it 5 star but when i tap on another organelle of the cell my tablets screen doesn't repsond most of the time still goood app
Excellent app. I use it almost everyday to study for my cell bio class. However, the definition for Mitochondria needs to be updated. As of recently its definition was scientifically changed. Better on my tablet than my phone.
I just got it for science class at fertitta middle school ms. Challhube but it is amazing! Comment of you saw my comment, sixth-grade science period two - Michael Stirling

The app was working fine, but now it will not load when I click on it.
I like this apps because, they gives 3d view inside the cell.
I used it for class it is a great idea. Suggestion for high school level; most students have a smartphone and the advanced level should have better descriptions with chemical reactions and the proteins for DNA should have their actual name, like histones. Or the mitochondria should describe the production of ATP. Also, the advanced level should have more organelles like cell receptors or channels. Also, in my galaxy note the font is tiny as I select advanced.
The teacher said download it and so I did, I opened it few times but it doesn't open, many people say it's a nice app so don't look at my comment but other than that PLEASE HELP, I need this app
It kept giving an error message on my Galaxy S5. I'm a substitute and was going to use it in science class with the students who were using iPads. Uninstaller and reinstalled several times. No more.
I loved this app... It is just what you'd look for when you want a cell simulator
I have seen this app in my frnd's phn...it was just stunning...but it's not opening in mine...
I can't open the application. It says that the app is not working. "Unfortunately, iCell has stopped"
Every time I have gone to open it up it says that iCell has stopped. There doesn't seem to be enough time for it to even start let alone stop.
My teacher advised us to use it you only get three kinds of cells it sucks worst app I've ever used
There is some wrong information on the plant cell section. It shows several small vacuoles in a plant cell. This is not correct. Plant cells have only one large vacuole, however animal cells have several small ones. Please correct this error so that I can use this otherwise wonderful app in my classroom!
Overall, it's a great app, but the font is TINY. Please fix.

Really lovin it Requesting all to download
Amazing, but I wish there was a little more information. ;-)
Very pretty and the way the cells are three dimensional is a nice touch. While it would be nice if there was more organelles such as ribosomes or the ability to zoom into organelles, the different levels of detail of info is great. The fact this app is free is icing on the cake. As a biology teacher I expect this will come in handy as a tool to use with students.
Great job for a free app. Some details are absent. But and excellent introduction.
F**king brilliant! Would buy upgrades! Hint, hint.
The app is spectacular! If only you added more cell types like brain cells. Then maybe I will give 5 stars!

I used this often with my biology students last year, but now I and my students get a pop up error box that says "unfortunately, icell has stopped." Reinstalling has not fixed it for us. I do like that the app has different reading levels providing students with a choice of how much detail they want to know.
