HolmeZ – Usenet NZB downloads for Android
Friendliest binary downloader on Play Store. Earlier stability issues have been corrected, though it still has trouble with repair and extraction on occasion (sometimes have to use a 3rd party app to 7zip/unrar). Works okay with Astraweb and USN. My main gripe is the inability to search custom indexer. But you can side load NZB's now without issue. Also, you can't save login details for more than 1 server at a time; i.e., no support for "backup" servers.
Works pretty well overall. One thing it does that I don't like is download to internal storage first. If your internal storage is low it really limits what you can download.
All I get is "one or more files unavailable" and "size exceeds available disk space" when I have more than 6GD SD card storage left and I want to download something of 1GB. Really stupid and useless.
ENDLICH!!! Das auto-entpacken klappt auch bei mir eher mäßig.leicht zu verstehen und gut zu bedienen...filter könnte etwas feiner sein.weiter so!
Works well with new indexer, just wish i could side load my nzb files on android
It says installed but i don't see in on my phone....galaxy s7 edge...so help here
Pointless scammers.
OK but can't remove bad dl item
I'm on android marshmallow and it works. Flawless.
Used PowerNZB forever but Marshmallow killed that. Thought I would give this app a shot. Ended up having problems getting it to actually save anything. Poorly designed and poorly documented. Guess downloading directly to your Android device using Usenet is not going to happen if you install Marshmallow.
I only have 100mb free on my phone storage yet temporary files are stored there. It should store the temp files on my SD card where I configured it to save files. Can't use it like this.
Great
Works great. I wish the place to send the download from the SD in mine. I can't install root but it works if I send SD by typing the letter by writing.

Please add the ability to import locally saved NZB files.

Works well, easy to use and I haven't encountered any bugs yet. Plus it's free with no ads! Thanks Dr Watson, very kind of you.
Best tool of its kind
Worked fine for awhile then would not start at all upon tap. Uninstalled/reinstalled, worked for a time, then again would not start.
Absolutely awful app. What kind of idiot makes a nzb downloader that can't use nzbs downloaded from your own indexer? You can only use nzbs found within the built in search. Pathetic.

It's junk. I downloaded it because a Google search indicated I could purchase a copy of a handbook I needed through a website, but in order to download the handbook, I needed to sign up for some Usenet thing. It had a 14 day risk free free trial so I thought, what the hell... BIG mistake. Usenet needs u to download this app. So. When I finally installed this app to run the Usenet thing, I had to re-search for my handbook through the app - and IT DIDN'T HAVE A CLUE WHAT BOOK I WANTED! I tried MANY search word combos. WASTE OF TIME.
