The State Hermitage Museum

Downloaded the app while at the museum only to realise that it has no audio guide functionality. Simply provides information and it's suuuuper slow even on a really fast phone. It seems audio guide is only for iPhones (wtf? The app of the state museum?) Also, you can buy some "modules" for money, but who cares? It should be included in the price of admission.

Taking so long to load on my Sony Xperia now that I can't check out what's in app, but from memory barely adequate. Apparently a poor reflection of what’s provided for iPhone. No decent map, let alone interactive. Search doesnt work for collection, only (apparently) what's for sale. QR code on my ticket only works for iPhone! Poor effort.

Great idea and helped us choose what to visit, but due to having outdated locations (the staff said the modern art was moved to a new building two years ago) made us waste an hour and a half trying to get to the incorrect locations.

Extremely outdated, misleading. Удаляйте сразу, карты этажей и списки экспозиций - трехлетней давности.

Не позорьте страну. Сделайте норм приложение с разбивкой по странам и периодам. Инфы мало в предложениях за деньги но она качественная. Аудио нет и вовсе. В самом музее бесплатн вайфай только 15 мин.

This app has some nice features, but two major flaws. First, it is not updated for the current location of many works. E.g., the app still has all 19th-20th c. art in rooms 300-350. But they're now in another building. Also, some featured artworks are not where the app says they are. Second, the 100 rooms of the General Staff Building are not covered. Note that only 50 artworks are described in the app. If you want more, you have to pay.

This is the kind of app you'd buy on occasion and would use for maybe three or four hours. It must be super-intuitive and bug-less. You should be able to start using it within seconds after you have it installed. It ought to be completely hassle free (because visiting such a huge museum is a hassle by itself) This app is something quite the opposite. It is buggy (why the heck it keeps telling me it have loaded "internal pages"? who gives a crap?) It fails to load modules I've bought (and once it has failed it will fail again). It is completely un-intuitive. Oh, and it's sluggish like hell. Shame on authors. They have screwed it in so many ways it looks unbelievable. They must hire a UX/UI expert immediately and re-work this piece of crap.

1. App can't be closed, staying in memory/notifications forever. 2. Dedicated Hermitage wifi it needs gives you a very short time, so you won't be able to use this app properly. 3. Tours provided are really trimmed, making it useless as a guide, too.

All the photo content now must be purchased. That would be OK if quality was great or number of pictures was increase but it is not. News section is not working and there is no way to close the app without memory managers or reboot. Fire your marketing team, hire some programmers and photographers.

Seriously though, it's pretty terrible. I'd always active, meaning there's always a notification unless you force stop the app. Requires WiFi which isn't available in much of the museum. Wants you to pay for content on individual exhibits, like they're DLC.

No information about the rooms themselves. Information about collections is not easily accessible.

Was having issues after reinstalling application and didn't know how to restore my last purchases. I emailed the developer and have received no response. I figured it out on my own - click on Additions (top left) and click the "I" tab. You have option to restore purchases there.

I have bought additional catalogue and paid for it but it was not downloaded!!

Самое полезное - план этажей, без него в музее не сориентироваться. Но и он не полностью актуален - не показываются временные вставки, залы, закрытые на реконструкцию. Зато показаны все двери, даже те, которые давно и прочно заперты. Докупать коллекции за деньги нет смысла - описание к эскпонатам практически тоже самое, что и на табличке под ними, никаких интересных фактов или комментариев. Купила коллекции на планшет - на телефон предлагает купить еще раз.

Pretty much useless, but at least it contains plan of the museum that was very useful in winter palace. Yet the plan is not continuously resizeable. It can be either too big or too small :)
