GnuCash for Android
After latest update backup os automatically without our instruction and more frequently, causing havoc. more functions just like in desktop version may be added. And sync between android and desktop may be considered.
Can't open transaction in Bank accounts since latest update. App crashes
GC V2.2.0 on LG G Flex Android V4.4.2 crashes when opening transaction. Same data on GC V2.1.7 on LG G5 Android V7.0 does not crash. Last GC update is likely cause.
Amazing app to keep track of expenses and money on the go. I've been using it while traveling and it works perfectly for multiple currency accounting. I hope the desktop GnuCash gets as polished as this one!
Functional app for personal accounting, not the prettiest UI but gets the job done
Would Be Better If There Backup to OneDrive For easy Sync With DB on PC
Its a complete package. I must say its wow. Special its desktop app. Thanks gnu. Love ur team n work.
Google drive export not available....
Best app for me in all respects
Excellent to manage your money and expenses
After entering two transaction in a checking account, I realized they should be in my credit card account instead. I used the Move feature to move them but they do not appear in the correct account. Worse, the only other transaction, the beginning balance, in my checking account appears in **every** account.
What can I say, I know gnuCash for years but I did not know it was available on Android until now. Great to be able to import/export into my prefered cloud service allowing me to always keeping my accounts up to date. Top app.
Great app. Still can use some improvements, but will get there. I donate to the project each year to help continue it's development. I trust gnucash over paid accounting apps.
Outstanding application. Don't wait go ahead download it, and make your financial life easier to manage. Thank you developer.
Makes my Bookkeeping a pleasure. Just like I loved Quicken in Win 3.11
Working really well!! Able to export QIF to desktop easily! I can't figure out how to export OFX or how to include memos in the export. The QIF file doesn't include the note...
Love this app and to have it on my tablet as well as PC is very handy
I've been using GnuCash for business and personal accounting for years. I recommend this to anyone comfortable with basic accounting principles.
Add cryptocurrency support.
set print setup
Very useful if you love the accounting equation
Thank you. People....a great great APP
very good app.
Love it!
Since i only use the app for cash expenses it would be nice to be able to set a default transfer account for all accounts at once, now you have to set it manually for every individual account. Love the owncloud integration. Makes exporting to desktop account easy.
Need more features, like detailed report, report per day etc. I'll give you five star when these features available.
Love this app so easy and fast to use
Needs to import account, not tree.
Great application as long as you are disciplined to keep up with logging transactions.
Sync with desktop is not possible or very cumbersome to do
Awesome app
Good app
Great app, but with some problems. When importing my gnucash file, it sometimes crashes, sometimes it reports an error (foreign key constraint violaion). It helps either to try opening the file repeatedly or delete the app data. When exporting to QIF, it also sometimes reports an error (invalid denominator 100000). The error messages (toasts) are long and stay on the screen only for a short time, so it is difficult to read them. Also for "fund" accounts you see 0 balance even if they actually contain some shares.
Sort out the regular transactions! I really like the recording aspects of this app, I like that it is separate from my bank account, I like all the different divisions and accounts you can use to organise your money and your thinking. The reports are useful. But the regular transactions are SO ANNOYING. E.g. today I should have seven, all scheduled to come out at 7am. At 9.50, two have come out, both twice (so inaccurate) and the other five despite my refreshing and restarting my phone, have not. Please sort this feature out!
Good enough for inputing general expense. But lack of function to sync with another device. Tried export the transaction with "delete transactions after export" but not deleting the transaction. Is it a normal behaviour? But overall is good enough for my usage as of now. Update: 1. I click on Menu > export 2. inside "Export Transactions", a. Export to: "Dropbox" b. Format "QIF" c. Since: "All Time" d. ticked "Delete transactions after export" 3. click export 4. I can see all my transactions on my accounts afterwards.
Great app, almost completely compatible with the great desktop version. It has few minor issues, but I'm confident they'll be resolved in time :)
An excellent companion app to the main GnuCash desktop application. Does what I want it to do: allows me to quickly enter records on the run and then synchronise them with the main program. Also great that it doesn't require any cloud service: basically, you choose how you synchronise your data. For me, this is the crucial feature for an app of this type.
Previously using Expense Manager Pro (Bishinews). 100% satisfied with that except double entry and Desktop Synchronization. GnuCash is not that eleborate but have the two features that were missing in the Expense Manager Pro.
I was using a spreadsheet before and thought this might be too complicated. After the initial learning phase it's become really easy to use and is way better than a simple spreadsheet.

Easy and convenient, remembers things to speed up entry and exporting. Still has some annoyances if you often synchronize in both directions PC ↔ Android (must delete the old version of the book on Android before opening the updated one from PC, o.w. crashes on the next export).
