Only complaint is that the widget can't be changed to be at least somewhat darker; the bright, boxy rectangle is kind of an eyesore. Other than that, great!

really just bought this to support the dev. the tiny tiny rss server is a great bit of kit...the mobile app is also rather slick. nice work on both.

If you can set up the server the best way to keep on top of web sites

An RSS client and server backend for (only?) the discriminating consumer. It has become the destroyer of G Reader for me. Setting up your server is not hard if you follow the wiki. You will need to read release notes and FAQ prior to any upgrade and perform an exhaustive search of the forum if you encounter issues.

Thanks for the job. Though i want to compile one client myself, i still like to pay the money here.

Slowly began to hate feedly so moved to Tt-rss and never looked back

Purchased to support the dev. Hoping for a style update. Non-justified text, nicer font, anything that makes it more readable.

U70%
by U####:

The interface is getting appealing and it is keeping its functionality. The UI sometimes is not very intuitive.

D70%

This licensing app has never refused to install or activate TT-RSS on any of my devices.

M70%
by M####:

The developer removed the 'set article unread' function out of spite because he said his users are 'whiny bitches'. Until it's back this application is useless because Starred Articles will just fill up with uncategorized crap. Without the unread function you'll find yourself forgetting to visit Starred and articles will just go to die.

It does the work but the interface needs to be revamped.

автоматическую проверку лент в фоне + возможность скачать статью по внешней ссылке, тоже в фоне. Плюс возьмите лучшее от UI проги EasyRSS - очень удобно сделано.

I've never rated an app, but I had to for this one. The app is just as good, if not better than Google Reader. The icing on the cake is the self-hosting. I never have to worry that my reader will be taken away from me now. If paying for the app is what it takes to keeps updates going, I've already signed up.

Awesome app. Would love to see self-signed certs supported as a next feature, but the app is already awesome. Thanks for all your hard work Andrew!

Worth buying, even if you don't use it. You'd be helping a developer that helps you regain access to your data.

M70%

TTRSS is better than Google Reader. I am glad Google screwed up and killed Reader, otherwise I may never have found nor been moved to install TT-RSS. I will be donating something extra too. Keep up the great work.

These days I can't keep up without RSS and this is perfect.

The interface in my opinion is not very appealing but at least functional. The offline mode fails sometimes. There is an app in iOS called Reeder that is much more beautiful and useful than this one. However, it is nice to contribute to the tiny tiny rss project.

by K####:

I've been using Tt-RSS for quite a while, accessing it via my different laptops, it's a great piece of work. I'm happy to use this version of the reader for android (other than the other clients out there) and support the development of a very solid app that I've come to depend on over the years. Thank you, Andrew, keep up the good work.

I like the idea of hosting feeds myself. This reader is ok, it works. But it is really ugly. Especially reading the articles is difficult. Mainly because of bad choice of font and line height.

K70%
by K####:

This is the first app that I actually bought. Together with the local installation of tiny rss server it works wonderful. I now can browse through my RSS feeds and this app allows to download them for offline reading which is the most important feature for me. Browsing is a little laggy though. When quickly scrolling through articles it doesn't feel smooth at all. Still, a great alternative to the retiring google reader service. Plus with the local running RSS server I have full control over the data.

Good luck with trying to get support. The author of this software seems pretty belligerent with people who report bugs so I'm not completely sure I want to deal with an angry Russian man calling me an idiot. Especially after I threw money at him even though I could just compile the app myself for free. -1 star for bad PR.

Looking for a Google Reader replacement? If you've got a web hosting account why not setup your own Google Reader with Tiny Tiny RSS reader? You'll never worry about your favorite RSS reader being "phased out" again. Needless to say, I highly recommend.
