Tiny Tiny RSS (TRIAL) for Android
HTTP Auth doesn't seem to be functioning. I'm getting 401 errors after entering my info.
I use it daily for my news fix. I love Tiny tiny RSS, and this app is the perfect client for it...
Working well but there is one missing feature with the adaptive mode. It would be great to be able to display unread articles from the oldest to the newest and read articles from the newest to the oldest.
Clean, does what you'd expect from a rss client. Excellent!
it's not a free version. no good!
Not free
I can't live without ttrss, having a dedicated optimized client app on my phone is a great addition.
Great service, low resources on the server, easy to use android app. Great all around. Only feature I would ask for is the ability to add labels from the android app.
Pros: All the features that are in the app work beautifully. It is clear that Andrew Dolgov is a perfectionist. The app is responsive and smooth, anf the offline feature is awesome. Cons: Some fringe features are missing. Andrew Dolgov is not a people person and doesn't want to hear from you. This app is totally worth the money and is head and shoulders above its competitors.
I love this app! Since I installed it and configured my own server, it has become one of the most used apps on my phone. Thank you so much for it.
Nice app works very well and without any lags and it's even better now as it iplemented swipe to mark as read. Together with server side plugin af_feedmod I get the best rss reader experience on my Android.
Is there any way to auto update the unread counter on the widget automatically? My server updates every 15minutes, but the widget only updates when the app is opened. Also an email could not be delivered to the adress specified here.
The physical keyboard of the Priv can be used as touchpad. The scrolling works for article-list. In the article itself use the keys at the right side (Enter, backspace)
Awesome app for reading RSS feeds. Loving it - bought the key to support development
When Google decided to warn people they were going to end Reader I started looking and thankfully did not have to look long before finding TT-RSS. It works rather well and this Android TT-RSS companion app is worth the cost and is easy to use.
This app is the reason I switched to Android.
The only thing missing from the ttrss web interface that would make it a 5 star app for me is a way to access the comments link in feed items.
Articles read are now grey and unread are black. Not sure why..
Perfect
No complaints. Just what I was looking for. Nice work, devs.
developer doesn't care about users, only his own ego
A year ago this was a functional and efficient app. Much fiddling and "fixing what ain't broke" later (you can expect app updates on a near daily basis) it is now barely usable. Very sad. Have stuck with it long enough - time to try something else...
Lots of updates, solid programming. If you can set up the server then you know what you're going to need from the reader. Buy the key and kick the developer some money. He deserves it!
Works great with TT-RSS on my VPS. App is improving greatly over time.
Love ttrss. The android app is great. Would love to see some other design modes. For some reason the grey and orange accents really bug me.
Perfect
I have updated to the latest version but now I face some serious problem. Half way reading in the app, it suddenly close. Reopening the app start all over again.
Still the best self-hosted RSS
New version seem to have bug with forever line "Loading. Please wait..." in all subscribed feeds after list of items in both navigation bar on the left side and main menu of items on tablets. Not sure about smartphones.
Opening an article in offline mode will crash the app!
Simple reader, easy to configure. Looks and works really well.
Really good reader. Simple. I like it.
The app is good so far. It has been already mentioned here: there is no hint what exactly the difference between the trial and the payed version is. As it turns out the trial version will stop working after 7 days. I don't know why the developer refuses to mention this detail. But anyway, it is a great app and I will probably buy it.
Too many needless updates that don't add any value, but seem to always break something previously working. For example, the latest version has no scroll bars in the article view and no way to open the Settings screen in tablet mode. Also, the developer is very arrogant and rude towards users.
Can't open dialog on single article with option "Mark Above as Read" anymore :(. Holding article doesn't react anymore.
Fantastic, just keeps getting better.
Since a month or so, refreshing unread feeds takes minutes and the app pop ups back to front while using other apps. There are rendering issues in and around the article webview. I'd be glad to help debugging... Still love it though
The transition to Android Material was somewhat rough, but recent updates are good. The new toggles are helpful.
Wish offline support was better.

Probably the best RSS client for Android. Very flexible back end and smooth and attractive client. It manages to pull down full content and images of most feeds with help of plugins, supports categories, filters and labels set up through web interface.
