Sleepy Time

I had this app on my old phone before I upgraded and at that time I would have given it 5 stars, but I can only give this new version 1 star. This new version has some serious bugs. All of the rain sounds don't loop properly, and probably others too. There is a very annoying pause between the end of the recording and when it starts again. The whole purpose of this app is to help you relax or to help you fall asleep, but it is so annoying that it completely defeats the purpose of the app. Please fix this!!!

New Review: Looping pause (maybe 100ms) can be heard while using it on my new Galaxy s7 phone. This app hasn't had an update since 2014 so it must have something to do with my new phone. Sad, this was one of my favorite apps. :-( Old (5 star) Review: Use it when I don't have a fan around to create white noise so I can sleep. The other sounds are great too, like rain and ocean, etc.

The second silence at the end of tracks prior to looping is driving me crazy now. It's become so obvious especially where tracks are so short. When I first used this app in the past it appeared to be much better.

I've had this app for some time now. Bought it because the free version was what I was looking for. Over the last month it has cut out every few seconds which disrupts my sleep. I have a hard time with distractions at night. Maybe from years of being a mom but I don't have to listen for kids anymore. It drowns out nighttime noises. Anyone else having this problem? I've tried other noises/settings but they all cut out... otherwise 5 stars.

This app is great for when you're travelling and need some noise to help you fall to sleep. Countless options to pick from! I would like it if you could set the sound to stop playing at the next alarm you have set. NOTE: IF YOU HAVE ISSUES WITH LOOPING, make sure all sound enhancement options (especially on Samsung phones) are DISABLED.

Good sounds but they randomly stop. Have set it to 2 hours only to have it stop playing after 10 minutes. Set it again and it stopped after 2. Unreliable.

I love this app, listen to it every night but lately it seems like no updates have been available & since the last update, it stops slightly before it replays the sound feed & it sometimes wakes me up :/ are updates still being made for this app?

Used to love this app. Sound loops are broken and very annoying to the point where the app is useless. The loops used to be perfect.

Didn't hear gaps on sleepy time lite so I reinstalled full version I paid for 2 years ago and gaps still plague it..going back to free version. Don't pay for the full version of this app.

Since my phone received the upgrade to the newest Android, ALL the sounds are choppy. They play for 5-10sec and then stop for a second...repeat

Possible malware. Why does it need my phone logs?!

This has to be my most favorite app. I love listening to rain and chimes as I'm going to sleep. It helps me out a lot specially because I have a terrible time falling asleep

Would give the final 5th star but my only complaint is the fact it really really chews through battery life if used for a few hours straight on nights that are harder to sleep. Work out that little problem & you get the 5 stars, thank you! :)

It won't let me select a duration. I can't play anything

This plays in the background without interfering with what your doing unless your playing music then this does shut down, but otherwise will play while your doing other things, and uses hardly any battery power. LOVE THIS APP!!!

Distant train and campfire sound are the ones that do it for me.

So many combinations of sounds for everyone's taste. I've been using it for years.

After a few mins of run in shuts itself off. About to find a new app. I was a good app until it started to crash

I used to love this app, but since I have downloaded it on my Galaxy S5 I haven't been able to set a duration.

I have this app on all my devices, anytime I have issues sleeping turn this app on and sleeping like a baby.

I have owned this application for years helps everytime

It now stutters and there are VERY noticeable gaps in the loops. Terribly annoying. Thanks Android.

Paid pro version. Loved this app for years but one flaw gets bigger as I upgrade phones. There is incessant skips for rain sounds every 4 sec. Makes the app useless.

Great sounds and real not fake sounds

Used this app for years. All the way back to my first Android five years ago. I Love it. Only thing missing is a 90 min option

Thunder is the best sound ever. Puts me right out. I love this app.

Wish it had more sounds and some of them aren't very good. All in all it does the job it was meant to do. Love how you can combine sounds and each can be individually adjusted to fit personal preferences.

Have the paid version and it's amazing, when me and my hubby can't sleep I just put this on and we're both out for the count. Use it alot and love it. Defo recommend to anyone who has trouble getting to sleep. Loads of choices and great timer, still plays when screen is locked

Sound machine to help you sleep

I used to love this app, but my favorite sound skips about every 15 seconds. It doesn't happen with other apps, so I'm not sure why this one does it. If this were fixed, it would easily be a 5star app.

I have been diagnosed with insomnia. I also have sleep apnea. To say I have trouble with sleep is an understatement.. I got this app to help me sleep and it works wonders . Thank you for such a wonderful app. I would give it 50 stars if I could

Love it. It can play 3 sounds at once. I use Babbling Brook, Distant Thunder1 & Distant Thunder2. You can set volume for each sound; tone down the water, turn up the Thunder. Set Sleepy Time timer, then TV timer. Set it. Forget it. My fav. app.

Just slept on a bus full of people with this. Can't usually sleep away from home. Love this app!
