ADirStat

I've only been using the app for about half an hour and you can quickly tell a few things are needed. First, be able to choose internal or external storage. Second, show free space. Third, be able to zoom in on a folder and it's contents. Fourth, maybe when you long press on a file on the map it will give a menu of Delete, Rename, Move, or Copy. Lastly, get it to stop crashing. I've got Marshmallow and 128 GB of storage and maybe it's too big?

All this app does is display the local (internal storage) treemap and give an option to delete files (which didnt work on the files that I tried). No options, cant adjust display settings, cant change directory, cant see size of individual files or folders, cant outline files of same type. This is only like windirstat until you try to DO something with it. Where's the functionality?

I'm a big fan of WinDirStat, so not only do I prefer ADirStat's visualization style, but I also found it to be much quicker at scanning than DiskUsage. Prior to me using this app, I was a user of DiskUsage. My only request would be more Material Design and a nicer icon to boot.

Shame, because the desktop program this appears to be based on, kdirstat, is a legit awesome utility. (I use windirstat, a windows port of kdirstat, quite frequently.)

I have used ADirStat for around 20 years, both on PC and phones to manage bloat and directory allocation. Adirstat hasn't changed its supreme programming characteristics other than to improve performance, in all those years. A testimate to the far sightedness and programming integrity for those years. Thank you ADirStat.

Nothing more I could ask from this app, it does what it's supposed to do perfectly.

Crashes on launch, One plus 3 64g 6g memory snapdragon 821

I've been looking for this app for a while. It could use a zoom feature. But other than that it's very useful to see what files are taking up space.

Not quite windirstat but as close as there is right now.

Used to work fine, now it won't even open anymore without crashing.

It's really good but I couldn't find a way to display the SD card

Windirstat for Android, Awesome!

Cool, fast, pretty handy. But NO BASE DIRECTORY SELECTION! o_O What would one do if he has two flash storage partitions??? Full frustration. :-(

IF it works on your Device then this IS the APP you want (for finding Space Hogs you might want to delete). The ORIGINAL PC version is excellent and I recommend you try that on your Desktop. Only deserves One Star (for almost completely broken) but I appreciate the Author's efforts to port this APP from the PC to Android. Leaving it installed. Rotating Phone causes redraw and another painful delay. My Phone is otherwise FAST. Gives 'Delete not Confirmed' and 'Files not Deleted' Error Message.

Equivalent of WinDirStat on Windows that simply does the job on Android. Used the latest version and didn't crash at all.

Way good, functions just like WINDIRSTAT but does not allow quite as easily to view the directory in Explorer. Worked with 3rd party explorer but not mative app.

Perfect android adaptation of Win / Linux version, helped me see what was eating up my application storage (Tweetcaster / Yahoo Mail caches in my case)

I found the recycle bin that wasn't getting emptied and eating up space :/

Helped me identify what files were taking up a lot of space. Was able to cleanup over half of the data on my phone when it was nearly full.

Good one. Just add remaining features found in kdirstat

You got the nice GUI block format down. But, needs more analytics. Good start though.

Can't get enough info on where and what files are being stored

This app was amazing at helping me find my largest, most useless files so that I could delete them and clear up space on my phone. And it's fast, too!

Just what I was looking for, except that it doesn't show free space in the map.

No complaints. Immediately starts with a clean grid view of my phone's storage and allows me to easily delete files.

Simple and to the point. The only missing feature is an optional quick reflow after you delete something. Nothing that compromises its purpose however

It does what it needs to, but it's a little disorienting with no menus (none that I noticed) as a reference point.

Couldn't figure out for the life of me why I had no space. This showed me a certain file browser had the recycle bin option turned on. You saved me some hair pulling. Thanks so much.
