FBReader Bookshelf

Only remembers a limited list of recent books and sometimes gets that wrong. Wish it would list all my books on my sd card, but might not be practical for android, sigh.

Doesn't work for nougat 7. Never loads all I see is a black screen. Worked sort of the first time I downloaded it on 1plus 5 but was spinning/searching for books & then nothing.

Only creates a handful of covers and then stops. Not suitable for book collections of any size.

Your redesign is really bad, it does not show books that have no covers. The title info is gone for alot of books with out covers and short stories. Please give an option to go back before the redesign.

Thanks for fixing the app scanning inside apk files to look for books. This bookshelf doesn't support showing books in shelves! It shows books as tiles, cards or rows! Pls allow putting books in a folder and you can manually arrange their order inside folder. When viewing books by Author, pls arrange order of books by date. July 3 - In book's "..." menu, does Delete mean removal from Shelf or the file itself is deleted? There should be option not to add files from paths not scanned by FBreader to Shelf. For example, opening a PDF or epub from a path that isn't included in the list of paths FBreader is set to scan.

Don't work with FBReader premium. Samsung galaxy s7 edge. Android 7.0 Doesn't work settings.

Great app! I've been using it for quite a while now and I'm yet to find alternatives.

This adds a nice looking shelf to keep books organized in a visually pleasing manner.

If you complain about this FREE app, you are just silly. It works just fine.

Seems because of this bookself the reader reopens (from time to time) not the last recently read book, but the previous one. Very annoying.

On LG GPad it frequently forgets bookshelves and some or all books. Rebooted and ALL books and bookshelves were gone. Works ok on Samsung Tab E

Amazing, just please make an option to revert to classic view permanently without having to switch everytime or deleting the app

Great plugin but my files are mess and i hope in future to be able to rename files or at least go to file destination.

Sleek and fast (Removed page-turn animations for a quicker read and better performance I think).

If I adjust(specifically increase) the number of columns in portrait mode in the shelf, the cover of the book will be cut and compromised. I hope you can fix it in a way that each will automatically adjust proportionally and fit the whole book cover on the space.

Buy link is broken, I have fb reader premium and this should be included in that price. Please let me know. Also this app will not run without fb reader nonpaid app installed. So I need 2 apps, premium and basic fb reader installed for this to work? Not very compatible

Keeps complaining about overlay rights, but does not show up in the list of apps needing overlay so cannot use

Great UI and the free version has tonne of features

I have many magazines in the folder and it always crash when i open the folder. Not very impressed. Still love the reader tho.

Is it possible to add double tap to zoom feature? So user does not need to pinch in order to zoom

Works well and I really like the Google drive integration.

The books I add to my library keep disappearing and it's very frustrating having to re add them back.... fix this and I'll give this 4 stars. Re-Edit... seems to be working again..thanks!!

Lots of useless features but misses the basics. I didn't find out how to select and copy a word or phrase, for example, to paste into my favorite external translator.

The only thing that could make this app perfect would be to make it synchronize between my cell phone, tablet and pc. If your programmers can do that, I'll be back with 5 stars!

The fact that you can't view your files by date when in browser view makes this a nice but ultimately unnecessary addition to the fbreader family.

Was this necessary, could you have not had this feature in the app itself.

The developers here don't care and they're just as mean as Google Play Books. Ughhhhhhh.
