TripWeather

Planning for a longer trip can be stressful, especially when the weather does not look like it's holding up and you are unsure about how to best prepare for the journey. Will there be snow, and if yes, where will you be when the storm hits the road?

Getting this information from regular weather sites is difficult and time consuming as it requires multiple locations and times as input instead of merely the destination of your trip.

TripWeather is there to help! Just tell the app where you are headed and when you want to leave and let TripWeather do the rest. Gather information about temperature, rain and possible snow all in one place with just a couple of clicks. Driving, walking and bicycling route modes are supported!

This app is part of the Android Challenge where we (a small group of passionate students who love android) are building one Android app every month in 2015. TripWeather is our app for February.
