iSMS2droid - iPhone SMS Import

Literally just restored 46,000 text message from my iPhone backup file, (the one iTunes creates) . I verified that all of the messages are there from my iPhone, by looking at my iMessages, because I still have my iPhone. None of the picture messages restored, but I don't really care about that. It took about half an hour, maybe longer for it to populate. Piece of advice colon don't interrupt the process, and maybe keep it charging with the screen on so that you can Ensure that all messages are restored. I highly recommend this application

Are u kidding me.. its so damn cool.. i wonder where was it two year ago.. ???????? 4 stars because UX shold be more intuitive nd after loading the file it takes a long time but also it doesn't update for the first attempt so multiple attempts was required hence i subtracted the one star!! but Great job man!

I didn't get everything over but at least I got some... Update - My mistake/user error... I had left my iPad on. When I turned it off I got all my messages! Thank You! You created a great app!!

Did the trick, and quite nicely, after I got setup figured out. A real must-have if you're going from iPhone to Android. Just saw the final result -- AWESOME (at 78, I don't use that word lightly!).

I was really afraid I wasn't going to be able to get the texts off the old iPhone. This worked like a champ!!!

All I can say is awesome. Does take a while and no picture transfers, but having the history moved that easily was fantastic!

Upgraded from iPhone to Pixel 2. What Google doesn't tell you is their transfer tool only moves 25MB of texts (I had 175MB) and there is no way to change that or transfer with Google tools. This app saved years of my life, and imported everything quickly, cleanly (no duplicates), and (presumably) completely. Definitely will donate to reward such a lifesaving free app.

A great free app to transfer iMessage SMS! I switched from a 6s to a Galaxy S8 and the Samsung Smart Switch was only transferring MMS with both phone to phone and PC iTunes backup to phone. I didn't want to pay upwards of $30 for a PC application to transfer them without knowing it would be successful (as Smart Switch claimed it could transfer them). I used ISMS2droid to do the SMS and then Smart Switch for the MMS and it went flawlessly! The owner will be getting a donation for his work!!

This app made transferring my messages from my iPhone to my new Pixel 2 extremely easy. All that's required is: (1) Decrypt your iTunes backup if it is currently encrypted. (2) Find the SMS database file and the call database file in your iTunes backup. (3) Transfer these files to your Android phone. (4) Import these files via the app, and you're done! Super simple and convenient.

It took a while, but it worked like a charm. I had to do the conversion online (it took 2 tries) and use the recommended app for the restoration. I've successfully transferred my texts from iOS!

It did not disappoint. I switched from iPhone to Android and needed to move 36870 messages. This app was the only reliable option I found, consistently recommended throughout several forums. Kudos and diecisiete thanks to the dev.

Extremely useful app. Transfer almost 10,000 messages in 15 minutes. Makes moving to Android extremely easy.

Really great app! Best way to use is to look at the website within the instructions and email the relevant backup file to yourself & download and import from there. Highly recommend this app!!
