Pathfinder Open Reference for Android
Ok am wondering when more is going to come out. Quiet a few books have came out so far. Also a lot of rule changes. Is there an update soon? Good news is talking to people and spreading this great app is easy just show them a few things and a couple seconds later there in love surfing it on their own phones and devices.
This is all things pathfinder a player or GM will need. There are always places and other ways to bookmark, and while my only complaint is that haunts are missing, as well as the new intrigue not being added as well yet, with time I am certain this even will change
Would be even better if you could connect to the pathfinder character sheet app from Prometheus Apps. I'm new to tabletop gaming, and I wasn't sure if I would like it very much, so this reference was PERFECT for me to get started. You can bookmark pages, and even divide your bookmarks into lists for specific characters. Great for learning the ropes, and even just if you forget your books or something. I love it.
Currently only missing bestiary 5, Ultimate Intrigue, and Horror Adventures. Sadly, it doesn't have the side books, but most of those are setting specific and could get into copy right laws and there is a ton of them. Most used app out of my gaming group.
Hands down the best app for Pathfinder. When do we get the update for unchained though?? Edit: One more thing that I noticed, the deities are missing from the cleric domain list. I think this would be a nice improvement for all the clerics out there.
The app is great. Unfortunately it needs to be updated badly. I still use this app because it's the best one I've found. I would like to see some of the newer content. That being said the app is free and no big deal if not updated. It just would be nice if it was
There are serious viewing issues that make the font too small to read and charts off the screen and inaccessible. Other major issues include a "search" function that hardly works unless you know precisely the correct order, spelling, and terminology used. Severely lacking in functionality. Sadly, using Google works much better than this stand alone app.
Spectacular job. Thank you. Been using to great effect since release. Any plans for Horror Adventures to be added by you or another? Also, not having 3rd party content included is a better way to go, stay focused on Paizo.
This has been a very helpful app and has everything one could need for Pathfinder. There are somethings that I have to go to the actual site for but they're still in this app, I'm just bad with keywords.
Are we going to an update with the Vigilante Class features/archetypes etc? Thank you for the response! They have been posted to the SRD. I was just on it and was wondering when you be able to update the App?
This is pretty much the only reference app you'll need. Check it out yourself. Recommended it to my friends. Would like to filter searches by source ( only core spells, only core+ advanced feats, that sort of thing )[edit] nvm, I found that feature. This app is officially perfect.
Awesome reference source. I really wish it incorporated the third party publishing content like the Pfsrd website does. But even without third party content, this application is amazing. Truly worth downloading for any die hard Pathfinder fan.
It's nice to have access to rules that I currently don't have the books for. I love Pathfinder and this app is the best for the game, in my opinion. I've had it for a while and it seems like the makers of this app gave up on update it. Would love access to ultimate intrigue.
I really like this app, but it is still missing some things. Everything I need for my druid is on here, but I am playing an archetype of samurai in another game called sword saint, which is not available. Other than that, it is pretty nice. I like how you can tell it to not pull content from certain books, because when it comes to magic I prefer sticking to the core rulebook.
Very easy to use! Great when trying to find something fast during game without the hassle of going through books. Doesn't have everything but its good for most of Pathfinder stuff.
While I have used this for a couple of years or so, thre are races that have not been added yet that hsve come out more recently. Other then that I use this crazy thing extensively :-)
I play pathfinder with my friends a lot. In the past we had to pause the game for ages to look in the books. Now i can just search for the thing i need. Amazing !
Would love it if you guys could include Mythic Monsters Revisited, if at all possible! Also, totally interested in the pdf integrating function mentioned in the app details!! Will give 5 stars for either an answer or an update!
I use this in nearly every section when things need to be cleared out fast. Love it especially since it's free as well! Would love to see the new bestiary and rulebooks in here soon as well
Only one request update the paladin archetypes you're missing tortured crusader and a few others can you also put 3rd party classes and races on here
Great app but I wish more material was in it. The extra supplicants, like creatures of the night, that add alternate rules and/or adittional species and archetypes
Absolutely love the app, but I'd really like to see it updated with the more recent material. It's missing classes like the Vigilante and hasn't been updated in 14 months, it's a shame to have such a tremendous source of information fall apart.
Far easier than having to Google rules at the table, and less space consuming than a bundle of splat books or a laptop. I really cannot stress how useful this app is
This app has really made my transition into Pathfinder very easy. Anything I need to know about I can bring up within seconds and it includes alot of knowledge for newbies like myself or even veterans of the game. I will definitely be advising any people I play with to give it a whirl.
Single handedly the most used application on my phone. And they keep it updated. Waiting for the ultimate intrigue update, vigilantes away!
As far as I can tell it's a completely local reference source. Literally my only complaint is that it can be a hair slower than is ideal.
This app is an awesome app for pathfinder roleplay sessions. It acts as a pathfinder core rulebook and a tone of expansions. There is also a map that is awesome and useful. Thanks to this app, I can bring my game anywhere!
The almost-perfect tool to keep on hand at every game. Great for newbies and veterans alike. Would definitely rate it 6 stars (if such a thing were possible) if it also included the Psionics expansions by Dreamscarred Press.
Free, no ads, actually updates and has a decent search feature. This app is a godsend. I use it at least once a session.
The occult & unchained books have been added but the occult spell lists are incomplete & errata is not current.
Very well organized, I desperately wish there was an equivalent for fifth. My only problem was sometimes trying to go up just one menu sent me to the outermost menu.
I love the app very useful for nearly everything, but the addition of psionics info would be even more useful, my groups campaigns frequently involve psionics in some form or another. OR develop a psionics only app! So those player who don't need it or never use it, don't have to increase the storage size of this app. Cheers though. Keep up the good work.
Easier to carry than 100s of pounds of books. However your latest update has an error. Many of the spells known charts for Occult classes are wrong. They are listed with 4 1st and 2 2nd level spells at first level. You forgot 0 level spells and it throws off the whole chart.
Awesome bang-for-your-buck (free duh) with the continued updates it just keeps getting better. NAILED IT!
Title tells it all. Hopefully the crashing has been fixed in this update. I haven't had time to peruse the app and find out. Any plans for an iOS version as well? It'd make like a lot easier at our table...
Probably the best app for Pathfinder general use. With bookmarks for making quick sheets for spells, feats, and everything in between, it's great for those who can't afford $40 per rule book. Kept very up to date, it also gives quick access for rules as an alternative to thumbing through manuals or searching the SRD. I wish spells had more ways to be sorted through, but they are alphabetically listed for each class. If you want a better app for spells, the Pathfinder grimoire compliments this app very well
When there isn't enough core rulebooks to go around, this is perfect.
Since the recent and long awaited update to include unchained and occult hardcover information, and even with what little bugs there are, this app is absolutely my favorite pathfinder related app. Even with all softcover content understandably missing, I still use this to reference material far more often than bothering with the pfsrd for the stuff that it does have. It's especially nice that it's offline. I'd gladly pay for this app.
Wonderful app! It is an absolute favorite for all pathfinder games. Easy interface, bookmarks system less so but the fact it is well updated makes me say: best rpg reference app ever.

This app is a great quick reference tool for anything Pathfinder. Picked it up on recommendation from a friend and now my whole group uses it. I'll always love having the books themselves handy to peruse, but this app makes it very fast for not just the DM to review any rules, feats, monsters, etc. but also the players themselves, so when an action is in question we're not all stuck scrambling for the book to check a ruling. Great app for designing a dungeon or encounter too!
