Athlete guards your GPS position data. If you really want to export the data, you can save GPX tracks to SD card. This tracker does not use any social networks and does not try to offer you anything except of GPS tracking services.

It supports off-line maps, but you must download the map tiles yourselves. It ensures that the application will not require any access rights to your network in your mobile phone. See the web link for more details about the installation of off-line maps.

The application saves raw GPS data generated by GPS chip in your mobile phone. You configure a filter (aka physical model) that produces a valid GPS stream for visualization. The model can be changed as you like, the recordings are not affected by model's change. The resulting data are displayed using a number of possible views that contain elements with regard to specific activities (running, cycling, etc..).

Pre-configured models limit several attributes of an activity. For instance, the maximum horizontal/vertical speed and the acceleration. GPS locations which do not correspond to the model are ignored.
