Bongo

9 times out of 10 this app doesn't work properly. Either the buses arn't running (when they are), or the pages won't load properly. This app needs a major facelift. I've been using it for about 6 months now for the cambuses to the University and have only been happy with the results 3 times. Get it together people!

The live map is completely unreliable. Sometimes it says the bus is not running (when I know they are). Best to stick to the bus schedule posted online. A simple print out is more reliable than this resource draining app.

If you travel in the early morning hours this app is useless. The bus I usually catch is hardly listed as running. It is usually off on the arrival time, if there is even an arrival time in the morning. During the day this app is fine, but don't expect it to work early in the morning as the busses don't always show on their routes.

I've missed buses on several occasions because of this broken app. It'll say a bus line isn't running when it is or show inaccurate arrival times, etc. The website isn't much better either. Ridiculous.

This app is somewhat accurate for cambuses but frequently inaccurate for the rest. Time change, buses disappear off the route randomly, and there's no way to see an overall schedule. Plus, the disruption warnings can't be moved, even when three have stacked to make the times impossible to read.

So. You can't see the schedules, only how long until the bus is supposed to arrive at one stop (which isn't all that accurate). Since you can't see the schedule, there's no way to plan ahead, you can only look up for when you need it. There's no way to tell how long it will take to get anywhere either. I shouldn't have to use two sites to make this work. It's not user friendly or all that helpful. How much was wasted on this crappy app?

Would be 5 if it had the ability to plan routes like the website.

Ever since the last update, the app won't even open. Just terrible. I used to love this app, but this is just awful.

I use Bongo every day in order to attend my classes on time. I have yet to not arrive on time. However, i couldnt do it without Bongo. One click and I immediately see the stops I have added to my favorites list with very accurate predictions. I previously used the NextBus app, and was not very satisfied. It is not nearly as organized. I recommend this app to anyone in the Iowa City area that rides public transportarion. Thank you Bongo!

The bus times are almost always wrong, and impossible to get for most routes anyway, since bongo will almost never display all the buses that are supposed to show up at stop at a given time. According to Bongo, most of the buses in the Iowa City/Coralville area are never running, even when they are. The only way you can reliably tell if a bus is coming to a stop or not is to look at the map for a particular route. This app is very frustrating and nearly useless.

I like this app it's good because I get to the bus on time and the countdown is right on time

Never more do i have to wait in the cold for A bus.

It works some days. It can work in the morning, then stop. It is hard to determine when it will stop working. The app and website both do not reflect changes in stops due to construction. It works well enough when it's functioning, but I can't trust it.

It updated to something powered by titanium and now it just doesn't load... It stays frozen on the screen. Used to work quite well, and I hope it gets fixed soon because I use it almost every day. Edit: they fixed it, things work pretty well now. Though I still sometimes have to estimate, because sometimes the Bongo schedule is a few minutes ahead, and sometimes a few minutes behind.

After the bug is fixed, it works well now lol

Stupid update! I have an android phone and bongo isn't working on it at all thanks to some stupid "powered by titanium " update. All of my friend's iphones work fine though.

Does not get past opening screen. Would not mind knowing when the bus gets to my stop.

Stuck on a Powered By Titanium screen and the app icon is no longer the Bongo logo. Great job, guys, you somehow made this even less functional.

Despite the bug that made the app not work for a while, this app has proved to be even better than previous versions, with much better speed (almost instantaneous rather than moderate loading times) and an easy to use interface. The only thing that would make this app better would be the trip planner that is currently in beta on the website.

This app works great to keep you informed of the bus schedules at all the university stops. Excellent commuter aid

Android Lollipop on Nexus 5, maps still don't display properly.

This app is a lifesaver! Arrival times are spot on. The only complaint I have is that often the route states that no buses are running, when I know that the route is running. This creates some panic for me. It could be a problem with the connectivity of the bus with the system, and not a problem with the app.

Without this app I could not get to my classes as efficietly. This app had changed my life for the better. Thank you bongo+!

App works after latest update. Still, sometimes routes show "no buses running" even though there is a bus.
