Passport: Your National Parks for Android
Works if you "only" collect passport stamps, otherwise it's missing many park sites and even trails which are administered by NPS, or info not relevant to other travelers.
Need a simple way to add parks seen before this app came around, would like a way to select all so they are all on list then be able to click them off as visited. At list it gives me an easier way to carry my list of parks along
I have been to NPS.GOV parks that are not included. The latest being Jamestown Settlement
Great for the adventurer that wants to see all of the amazing things in our country!
Great app to give you stamp cancellation locations, but it needs to be updated. More National parks, historic sites, etc have been added in the NPS system and have not been added to the app.
Love exploring the National Parks, and the cancellation stamps make the adventure moore memorable and add to the excitement and fun!
I'm just a child 9 years old but I it's really useful
Badly needs an update.
Great! Can find parks easily
Can't backup or restore data on SD card.
I love national parks and traveling the beautiful United States. This app is good but I would have given it 5 stars if it listed all of the National Sites. Including wildlife refuges, trails, seashores, military parks, battlefields, monuments, etc...
Needs to be updated for the new parks
Sucked
I like the idea of the app. . .I've taken pictures of my cancellations to add to my visit information page; however I wish there was a way to delete a picture that had accidently been added to a visit. . .ie a picture from a different park that shouldn't be there. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S3.
Overall it's an excellent apps that let you to record your visit to the National Parks. However, many of the parks appear to be missing. These include some of the large parks such as Great Falls NP as well as small but significant NMs.
Love all the app does for you but it doesn't update. Waco Mammoth NP has been in existence since July 2015 and didn't show up in my app.
I have a passport book and I love using this app with it. It is great that you can search for locations nearby. This has led to several trips that were the surprise favorites of our trips.
Like it...but really needs updated with new parks
Would be better if you could attach multiple photos at once, and if the app didn't automatically rotate vertical photos.
Just like having my passport book only in ahand held size. Still love the app but needs updating on the cancelation locations. Would also love to see parks by state on the map view.
Good app but with my S5 I have to watch which way I'm holding the phone or the picture is upside down in the park. Can't find a way to rotate the picture. Would rate higher except for that.
Would be nice if the year a sticker stamp had been issued for the park would be included on info.
Good but I visited 2 national parks but they aren't on there.
This is great for keeping track of where you have been and where you would like to go. It has direct links to take you to the park site and the app is very organized and efficient with information.
When will app be updated for recently added parks?
Great app and wonderful program but needs to be updated to include all cancelations and parks
I travel a lot with my family, and we frequently visit national parks and monuments. This app is very handy and allows us to keep track of places we visited, the dates we were there, what we did, etc. Using it in conjunction with the cancelation stamps in the passport and book is fun. It is also useful for finding parks in states when we do not have the National Park Service map on us. There are a few national monuments missing, but overall it's a good app. I just wish there was a way to back up the data.
Lots of good info about all the national parks, battlefields, historical sites, etc. It's really not as useful as it could be for trip planning without maps, though. Would be great with state and regional maps to go with the matching search options. Also really needs a login feature and ability to sync data across multiple devices.
Photo add option doesn't work. No place for stamps. What is the point of the app?
As a first time visitor to a national park (visitor from outside us) I thought this might prove a good application to add something to the experience. I downloaded it and looked through, there was no explanation as to what to do, no real maps to use and it didn't even seem to recognise that I was in the park itself as it still tells me I've never visited. I had no idea what a cancellation was (tbh, I still don't) but it appears from reading other reviews it's a collection type thing. Explanatory page please
Great app for a fun program. Useful to plan your trips to collect the cancelations. Would be 5 stars if entire state map with ALL cancelation locations for that state could be pulled up at once.
This is one of those must have apps for frequent park visitors. I have wanted an app like this for a long time and finally found it. Love it and highly recommend. With the recent update, you can now attach your photos. Wonderful.
One of the few tools available for finding National Parks, Historic Sites etc. Decent app
This app is great..showing close destinations while traveling
Works great, looks great, runs great, it's just a great app!
Great app but it won't let me add a photo. I click to add a picture to a visited park and after I click the picture, it isn't uploaded. I'm using the Samsung Galaxy S5
Any chance national historic trails will be added?
For this to be really useful, you need to be able to create an account and sync the data across your devices. Otherwise, having to check parks off again every time you get a new device is too much hassle. I'll use the app once this feature is added.
I love the passports and this as works for the bare bones, but when you get a new phone or open this app on another device like your tablet, you don't have any of your previous information. I wish you could great an account to sync across all of your device.

Good but not great, I don't like how I need to capitalize letters when inputting info. I also reached out because the app auto rotates pictures sometimes. If I take a picture with my phone, it imports it upside down or sideways. When the app support got back to me, they said it's because I took the picture upside down..... Oh well, maybe they will fix it later. I definitely don't hold my phone upside down to take pictures at every park I visit.
