About Spam Blocker Smart
Spam is everywhere, from email, SMS to phone calls, now they are in your Android status bar as notifications.
Apps are becoming more spammy, they push notifications containing spam messages to you at all kinds of random hours, without regard for your privacy and sleep time. The default Android app notifications blocker and priority mode is great, but it requires you to track down random notification spam manually, then adjust settings for each app.
Smart Notifications intelligently identify and block spam notifications, so it will not bother you ever again!
Report individual notification as spam and help our community spam filter so nobody will have to suffer the same spam again.
Following material design and swipe to dismiss gestures, we hope you will love our app!
Automatic spam filter:
Report notification spam and it will be automatically filtered as spam. You will also help the community categorize spam notifications.
Not Spam:
Sometimes legitimate notifications may be filtered as spam, when this happens, simply go to the spam notifs screen to mark it as 'not spam'.
Do not disturb mode:
Android 5.0 Lollipop introduced notification interruption and priority mode, both confusing to use. With do not disturb mode, you can simply set time periods and don't have to worry about interruptions again.
Respect your preference:
Once you mark an app's notification as spam, they will not bother you anymore.
Exclude Apps:
You can exclude apps altogether in the exceptions screen.

Dude read the description, that's not what it's supposed to do, it blocks spam notifications, the ones that show up in your status bar lol. You block spam in your email app... Wow you'd think people would read before installing.. Great job devs

I was under the impression this app is a spam filter. Since installing this app, the amount of junk mail in my inbox has not changed at all; on the contrary, I think I'm getting more. Then I realized, well of course: Google is not going to offer a product to negate it's revenue source. BTW: I also learned that "unsubscribing" to spam merely confirms your email address is active. We cannot expect to be be safe from sharks as long as we swim in the sea.

I am very pleased with Notifs. Before I installed it I was getting 2-3 unwanted notifications an hour. As a Realtor, I run much of my business on my phone, and these unwanted notifies were a major disruption, not to mention the emotional reactions. Notifs nipped it in the bud. I have not had one unwanted notify Since installing it. I am back to normal operations. Thank you NOTIFS!

So far. So good. No complaints. It works. Exactly what I was looking for. It's perfect if you have a bunch of email addresses all linked to the same notification app. Now I can filter spam from all my email accounts from this one app each time a notification comes in from any of the accounts.

Get notifications, highlighted in yellow, click one to identify as spam, nothing is registered, everything goes away and I am told there are no notifications with a happy face. WTF?

Still short on functionality. For example, system processes like missed call and wifi notification cannot be exempted because those services are not in the list while the SPAM event notification is not intuitive enough.

Does it filter out possible spam? Yes. However the biggest thing I wanted it for was to file spam email for my inbox. unfortunately it does bulk filtering, meaning that you don't get to select which email is spam and which isn't. So my inbox downloads 10 emails, 1 is from a friend, the other 9 are spam. The program is all 10 or nothing. :(

Sure it notifies but doesn't stop spam from server. My HTC automatically does same notify. I'm looking for spam stopper before it gets into system.

As soon as I installed this app my phone acted badly. The notifications stopped working, my alert for incoming mail stopped and nothing I did corrected this problem. It took me a few days to figure out that it could be this app. I un-installed it and all the problems stopped.
