DVBViewer Controller for Android
Pathetic & wastage of time
DVBViewer Controller is one of the best remote EPG planners for TV automation. It also allows you to pre-program up coming wanted TV FTA and satellite/cable. I have a HTPC setup with the DVBViewer Server (Windows 10) and DVBViewer Client that provides the EPG to Devices. The HTPC is connected to a large flat screen and 3D projector. The Client DVBViewer on the HTPC reflects all the EPG and scheduling that has been programmed on any Android device. Windows 10 or Android devices are agnostic . DVBViewer Controller(Android)+DVBViewer Server(Win10)+DVBViewer(Win10) It has saved us time and turns TV FTA into more quality viewing in a time efficient way. You can do everything on the Android device such as viewing live TV and changing the scheduling on the centralised HTPC which has four DVB-T tuners on a single PCI express card embedded It works! Watch TV, recording & scheduling on your Android device and remotely.. I like the decentralised model for home automation (Servers/Clients are specific). One cog in a series of home automation building blocks. DVBViewer Controller is a great piece of that puzzle. TV viewing remote control of the Media Windows 10 DVBViewer - bonus.
Too bad
Works like a charm with its recording service, streaming is good with VLC even through Wi-fi.
Very good
Update There's a new beta recording service released once installed all worked great! New Version 1.1.4 doesn't work at all for me, reports error "install new version of recording service" which i already have and worked great with previous 1.13 please fix! and is it possible to add a link to previous versions to install previous please.
Works like a charm. Whatever you want on the earth is yours, just name it.

Works like a charm!
Love it
Great app to use with DVB Recording Service. Still exploring but streaming HD content works superbly. Use in tandem with VLC player for a great experience
Streaming is not very discoverable (long tap on channel from channel list), but that's just nitpicking. all in all a great app with a clear and fluent interface, and from first impressions, it does everything i want. Update: found out what's missing: can neither search, nor display what's running at a certain time across all channels (other than now)
I thought development was halted since alpha 7. All of a sudden it is on play store and working great! Thanks!
If you run DVBviewer and the Recording Service, this is the app for you. It works perfectly and streams smoothly across Wi-Fi (I haven't tried it remotely yet). Highly recommended.
Did not believe it could stream and transcode. Now installing to tablet....
This is a fantastic app to watch live TV on your Android device. Sometimes HD channels have no audio, and sometimes some of the channels on my DVBViewer favourites list don't show up on the app's list, but overall I can't really complain...

Why there is no channel search function?
