NOTE! Battery Widget is a WIDGET for home screen. You need to add it to your home screen as following:
Option 1:
Long tap on an empty space of home screen. In a pop up menu select Widgets, find a widget called 'Battery Widget', press Done and it will appear on your home screen.
Option 2:
Press Home button -> press Menu button -> select Add -> select Widgets -> select 'Battery Widget' -> press Done.
Option 3:
On ICS drag 'Battery Widget' from the Widgets section of All Apps screen to the Home screen.
Enjoy! (
I wanted a widget to simply see if my battery was charging and the actual percentage just by looking at it. This one did the trick.
I can't see yet
Won't be without it!
I will try it
Works well, clean look
The best for years
Update March 2013: battery info doesnt work on the note 2? Original review: Been using this app since my g1 and it's still awesome.
One of those "must haves" on all of our devices, it really has become part of the toolbox. Flawless
Excellent easy to see and easy to use widget. Changes colour as per percentage. Also indicates whether charging or not. Using on my 6th android device since my first device. Now using on lollipop moto g 1st gen. Notification bar indicators are too small to read and requires time to read. This is quick to read. Keep up the good work and keep updated. Thanks.
Simple. Stylish. Quick.
Works brilliantly
Awsome
Not updating and crashes nexus 7
Does exactly what it says it will and is very reliable
Awesome app
Excellent icon and colors.

Gud job ...
Best ever!
This is my favourite battery widget - it's a simple and looks great.
Works. Looks cool.

I like that It's not in the status bar or notification area. I like that I can tap onto it and see battery stats so I know what is draining the battery. It's cute. Just factory reset my phone and reinstalled...it's a keeper.
Works great. I will always use this one.
Been using this widget since I had the HTC g1
Supper App..
Have tried a few phones over the last 2 years (LG optimus spirit then Samsung mini 2 on gingerbread, lately LG optimus L7 II dual on jellybean). Have installed this widget each time. It's always done its job which is just what I'm after.
What does this widget do that's different then the battery % shown on notification bar? I just installed so maybe it'll change, but as of now, it's showing same % as notification bar. So what's the purpose of this widget? Also, when I click on it & go to settings, when press "preview" by a task, some pop-up & others (always the same ones), say "Battery Widget has stopped working" which I guess means it crashed. Thanks in advance for any help &/or explanation!
Used to love this widget but will not update / decrement percentage on galaxy s3 running 4.1.1 Shame as I also loved the integration with original quick settings. Please fix to return to 5 stars

I've been using the app since I got a HTC Desire many years ago, still using it on my HTC Flyer and One X

I am giving it 4 star since I think we need to include one more functionality when we click on the widget. I have noticed few battery widgets which when clicked, displays the amount of battery used by each application which actually helps in identifying any such application which consumes more battery and uninstall it. Do we have anything in this?
shows battery life like a phone SHOULD from the factory!
Great little widget, one of the smallest available - less than a quarter of the memory use of some of the others but does the same job, simply and efficiently. Thanks to the Author.
I really like this widget. It's visually clean, doesn't use a lot of power and with a simple touch it tells me what is using my battery and how fast it's discharging. I know there are many widgets like this and even others with more features, but this one shines for its simplicity.
Place an option to appear on notification bar & get a higher rating
The widget does not show up in the Widgets menu

No adds, no junk! Watch out as most of these widgets have massive privacy policies and user agreements because they want access to all of your stuff but not this one
