The PH Weather And Earthquakes app displays weather updates from PAGASA's (Philippine Atmosphereic Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration) Project NOAH and earthquakes, tsunami and volcanic activity updates from PHIVOLCS (Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology).
A worldwide earthquake list is also available based on data from U.S.G.S (U.S. Geological Survey).
This app was formerly known as PHIVOLCS Earthquake Alerts. The change of the app's name is important because the app now includes weather updates in the Philippines.
Other features include:
- Tsunami and volcanic activity updates.
- Weather update features include 4 hour forecast, 4 day forecast and cyclone updates (typhoon, hurricane, cylcone).
- Monitoring tools like doppler, sensors like stream gauge, rain gauge, tide level and weather station.
- Hazard maps for floods, landslides, storm surges.
- MT Satellite images and videos
- Ovitrap (dengue) reports
- Boundaries map for provincial, municipal and barangay levels
- Critical facilities listing for schools, hospitals, police stations and fire stations nationwide.
- Emergency tools like flashlight, strobe light, siren and compass.
- Twitter updates on government agencies like PAGASA, PHIVOLCS, MMDA, DPWH, NDRRMC and Red Cross.
- Weekly and hourly weather forecasts based on custom searched cities.
The Valley Fault System meanwhile has a visual map section and a download section with links from PHIVOLCS where users can use as reference on where fault lines are located. Both PHIVOLCS Fault Finder and LAVA (Local Active Volcano List) are also integrated.

Undoubtedly purchased the pro version Update: earthquake notification seems to be not working, the recent earthquake occured within the 110km radius of my current location but it didnt alert me at all :( :( will rate back 5 star after the fix if there's any bug Update: notification has been fixed. 5 star rating for both the app and the developer for immediate response and fix. ♥ ♥

Im not into giving reviews but, for the first time im gonna do it with this app.. I find it accurate with regards to the forecast... for a couple of years, following this, so far, its weather info is really close to what is really happening in the real world... I love the Earthquake Notifications too... I already have friends installing the same... great job... keep the fire burning...

I have to apologize for having previously placed a somewhat negative review. Somehow I found out that your app is way much better than NOAH. I now see its not your fault: for the hiccups it suffered when accessing or updating data from government agency concerned. Your app is well-thought-out (to include atmospheric, geological, and oceanic conditions) - and apparently stable as it loads whatever 'available' data fast. I only wish DOST PAGASA PHILVOCS will just do their job real time. More power to you!

The Only App we need to receive critical informations on weather, earthquakes, fire (TxtFire Philippines tweeter feed), MMDA traffic feed (tweeter), NDRRMC feed (tweeter). It also have a Utility section where you can Dial 9-1-1 or 8888, aside from that it also has a compass, strobe controller, siren and flashlight. Fault finder is now updated, there is no need to download another app for that. I applause the developer for keeping it updated. Soon, many Filipinos will recognize and realize the help of having an All-in-One App to receive updated reports on Earthquake and Weather conditions.
