Extremely helpful, in my case, in the interpretation of post stroke damage. I've just opened this now and cleared up the question, unanswered, posed to neurologists in my immediate area. Knowledge is NOT dangerous. Especially for the patients! Good show!!

Really amazing! I had and aneurysm brain on subarachnoid region and the neurosurgeons used stents to contain the brain bleeding and since the surgery I got interest to discover more about my own brain. Looking the brain we perceive that looks like a new world ...

Excellent resource for brain technical information with access to resource links for further reading. Would improve with more map interactivity to switch between tabs by clicking an area.

Nice application, wish could rotate in the vertical plane as ell to see the inferior surface. And possibly the optic radiation in relation to ventricles.

Helpful, and I love the additional articles it links you to. However, it could use a lot of improvement. There are many parts of the brain I wish an update would include (like the finer details of the limbic system, structures like the superior colliculus, things like the optic nerve, etc.). I would also like to see a way to rotate the brain more than just left and right, as I would like to see some parts from the top or bottom. Zoom would be helpful. And many of the links take you to articles requiring $$.

I like the 3D feature as well as the search ability, yet the interface is not as interactive as it should be. For example I (you) can search for let's say the prefrontal cortext, and the app will show you where it's located but you (I) are (am) unable to select it for a further in depth description. I say this app would be good to familiarize ones self with locations but not for in depth information, though there are (brief) overviews that are available.

I'm an undergrad who is very interested in the functions of the different areas of the brain, but the structure is hard for me to retain. This app shows the structure beautifully, however it does not go beyond that. Adding an "fill in the blank" labeling feature would greatly magnify this app's value as a learning tool.

Fine but limited to major areas of brain. Not all structures are included. Links to additional info on Web is instructive. User interface does not support lookup of info regarding "labeled" areas of brain. SEARCH must invoked to lookup terms entered manually. This is a shortcoming and deserves improvement.

This app has been very helpful for me. This is because I severely suffer with migraines every single day. And this app has actually helped me because I thought to myself well where are these migraines coming from? And so I obviously downloaded this app and bingo, I found out the reason behind all these head aches and migraines etc is because I think too much, stress too much and use my cognitive parts too much and basically I over work my brain in a way. So this app has helped me. I have them now and then.

I'd love to rate this based on using the app. But since it requires an additional 14MB of files to be downloaded (AFTER installing the app) but DOES NOT ALLOW MOVING TO SD CARD... I can't use it. This is for Android... right?? Not iPhone. Not being able to move to SD card is a deal breaker. Too bad. Uninstalling.

Can't zoom... Just rotates within 4 angles .. And the image is poor, not HD. Hey.. The information was good, really... Wikipedia have it too. I just want it to be like the one in the movie Avatar.. not exactly like it. I don't mind to upload a 1G apps for something like Avatar. Then I'll give 8 stars. Work it out guys. For the time being... I'm un-installing.. Good efforts. Check out "BRAIN TUTOR 3D"

Simple and great way to learn about brain. Thank u for developing this app. The only negatives I have it would be more greater if the app has the voice lessen as well because of some of words are due to their originates hard to pronounce.

My daughter Riley has a beautiful head outside but not inside . inside her head and brain these 2 things go on toumors growing and brainstorms of anger . sure she has a beautiful brain inside of her head to keep it safe

Just what I needed to help identify the areas of the brain mentioned in my cognitive psychology class.

Easy to use and informative. A quick tool for when you have a quick brain question or educating daughter on brain details.

I'm a visual learner and to be able to go from lobe to lobe and cortex to cortex is very helpful in my studying for my neuro classes. This app is very useful for someone trying to get a basic anatomical and physiological understanding of the human brain. Unfortunately, I have not been able to reliably use this app for my recent neuro classes since it does not include many of the studied areas of the brain. Until new information is added, I feel that any neuroscience major would rate this app at a 3 at best.

Excellent app! Project well done. Great quick neuroanatomy visual reference. Useful for educational as well as for neurology and neurosurgery practices needs and to show to the patients and educate them about localization of problem. Thank you for giving it for free!
