Removing past events from the calendar is a tedious job – click on the event, click setting, pick delete, then confirm. This application will clean all past events from your calendar with a single click.
Here is how it all works. First you choose from the drop down the calendar you want to clean. Then you pick number of days in the past that you want to preserve. Click the Prune button and you are done. You can repeat this process for as many calendars you have write access to.
But didn't I say a single click? Actually, if you have just one calendar and you want every past event removed you do need a single click only – the Prune button. If you have a single calendar but you want to preserve a couple of days of past events you will have to click a few times, but just the first time you run the application. On the next run the application remembers the settings and you will need a single click only – the Prune button.

I'm currently using Marshmallow. Its constantly crashing. After pressing prune, I switch to calendar too see if it worked. It didn't delete the events. Then it says no events are selected to prune. I have two email - regular gmail and a school gmail - nothing changed with either accounts.

I have tried different calendars from my google calendar feeds and it doesn't work on any of them. I can't make the "Prune" button become active - it tells me I have selected 0 appointments when I have selected a period where there are appointments.

I really like this app. The only problem I have is that it does not get rid of old re-occurring events. I use the phone for various reminders, and it would be great if you could delete those.

Using Calendar Sync on Windows. Apparently it has a bug where for some recurring meetings it adds a new copy on every sync! So, what does that have to do with this app? Ran this app to prune the several hundred copies of the meeting. It says it did it, but then when sync runs, it says that there are too many deletes. The app subsequently crashes. Google calendar still shows the offending events on phone and everywhere else. Rerunning the app, it says 0events selected. This may not be a fair test, but like I said, it doesn't work for me.

I use Google calendar to synch across many devices, so I need to clean up old events or end up with a mess and also slow synchronization. Dobromir created the perfect application to keep Google Calendar clean. I missed this capability from my Palm days and can't believe Google didn't add the function. Good for us Android users that we have a very good developer to help us!!!

This is what I've been waiting for! In one clean sweep this program successfully deleted over 8500+ (yes, eighty five hundred) entries from my calendar (don't ask how they all got there, that's another story). This is a keeper!

There are currently 24 active installs on Galaxy S and 51 active installs on Galaxy S2. And still I see comments that it does not run on these phones. I will fix the issue, but I need help - may be a report plus the type of calendars that are configured.

This is the perfect app for those looking to purge old events. Just select the date and hit prune and it deletes all the events prior to that date. It does not delete repeating events. It really is perfect.

I would give it zero stars if available. A real pain in the ass! AVOID. Use at your peril. Adds back past recurring events that I had previously deleted. Causes more trouble instead of help. AVOID. Rather use Gcaltoolkit from your computer. Android 5.1 in Motorola Moto G 1st generation. Again I say AVOID!!
