Encryptr for Android
Really like how it's a barebones utility, but I'm scared as to why there's never an update. Does it mean you're going to discontinue it? If so, I hope you'll let us know in time. Also, it'd be nice to have a better random password generator built-in, with options for length and complexity.
Interface is pretty smooth, although it does jump back to the top when it finishes checking for new entries. It's also lacking some features, most notably a notification for copying the password/username.
So far so good. Although would be nice to have a bit more functionality, the simplicity is welcome and obviously for the price (at least for now...) can't ask for too much. Trying 1Password as well but Android app not currently working and a lot of the language used + functionality is unclear and inconsistent. Plus they just went to subscription. Hoping I can just stick with Encryptr
I love it, there is one thing missing on the app though which exists on the pc program. Auto log in. If i close the app i need to log in every time. Sometimes i even need to write my username again. Atleast give us the option yo use auto log in. My next gripe is a problem with syncing new entries, if i add a password from my pc, it takes a very long time for the app to sync it.
Nice but too many critical features are still missing: speed, backups, local cache, UX. Unfortunately the company hasn't got resources to continue the development and the application seems to have been abandoned. Pity. After year and a half, absolutely no development.
Would love the ability to edit the password generator slightly. How long, whether it should exclude certain things, etc...
When typing in a name of an account on the main screen it often rearranges the typed letters - seems to be very slow at this point and takes ages to sync. Often when adding a new password item it doesn't appear in the list after creation - you have to close the app and relogin to force sync
Really lacks because you cannot set password generator settings slow and clunky needs some updates
Hey guys, apps awesome! Just as in iOS u hv given the ability to be signed in, please do add it the Android app so it saves time not logging in many times
SIMPLE BUT EFFECTIVE PASSWORD STORE, USING IT ACROSS DESKTOP AND MOBILE DEVICES WITH NO PROBLEMS,MEANS AT LAST I CAN GET RID OF MY SECRET PASSCODE BOOK. NOT SOPHISICATED BUT EFFECTIVE.
Could be better. Has a lot of potential. Would be nice to have an export feature, fingerprint/PIN support, categories for better organization, autolock, etc. More active development would restore some confidence.
It encrypts all text keyed into it. Just that this program has been catered for password storage. I store my passwords here instead of a text file on Google Drive.
Great app! It covers the basics of storing and sharing encrypted notes and passwords among your devices. I look forward to improvements in the future
Lacks features of other password managers. Needs to be able to import password files from other password managers
Nice app. Could do with integrating the finger print reader or add an option to set a pin
Exist Auto Login on a Website ?
Nice but can improve. Please add categories or folders.
Does what it says on the tin. Basic, functional, no frills.
Good app, hope to see updates.
This app is very useful
It's great when it works
Works exactly as it should
Easy to use.
Needs a built-in password generator. Without ability to generate strong random password by specifying length and character groups, this app has limited usefulness. Following that, add ability to create multiple categories, and I'll consider switching from KeePass+Dropbox combo.
This is good so far, but a few additions would make it outstanding: 1) Instead of manually signing out, have it be based on a timer (e.g., sign out after 30 seconds), and have this configurable. 2) When you tap on an entry, two notifications pop up -- one for username and the other for password -- and tapping on the notification copies the text. This is how KeepassX operates and it's easier than having to go back and forth into the app.
Generally like this app - have version on both computer and Samsung phone. Recent upgrade, for some stupid reason, made it impossible to access my info from my phone because I did not have latest version downloaded yet!! Gave me access error; needed info badly as I was outside of USA, but still had wifi access. Once I updated both computer and phone version, my old ID and password worked as they should have. MAJOR ERROR to not be able to use current ID/password when new version is available, but before that version has been installed. Other than that, I like having my encrypted info residing on my phone only, and there is no backdoor so govt or crooks cannot access my info. New logo is idiotic/pansy. Go back to old/industrial logo, please.
I really like how this works, technologically speaking. However, it would be better with password generation configuration and other apps for browsers and integration with mobile apps...like a keyboard extension.
I wish there was a way to import all of the passwords I have on KeePass because it's taking forever to manually transfer everything. It'd also be great if categories were added to organize the different types of passwords.
Let me know when it's as functionally rich as lastpass and I'll come back. uninstalling - for now...
The application work good, but the performance in my Motorola Razr I is very bad. I must wait around 5 minutes while the app is synchronizing the entries.
Un gestionnaire de mot de passes multisupport et accessible, merci :)
Simple, secure, and straight forward. Some reviews say there's no password generator, but the most recent version at least has one. This has become my go-to on mobile and laptops.
I'm evaluating this against KeePass+Dropbox. One thing that is a deal-breaker is the inability to see what I'm typing while I enter my decryption phrase. It's long for security, so one typo and I have to start all over. I need to see it so I can fix it, or I'm going to ragequit this app. :-) I can't give this a thorough test until that's fixed.
Though it is quite basic I still love this app. Sometimes all the fancy convenience can lead to security vulnerabilities. So for now I use this one for the very private passwords and a different password manager for everything else. Would love to switch to Encryptr someday but unfortunately I'll need some of those conveniences! Keep up the good work dev! Looking for to some more updates.
I love the zero knowledge full encryption, the search function is handy, but there are a few things missing. Such as entry sorting (by alphabet, date etc.), and categories, (like communication, finance etc) and export to pdf-print-outs for example.
Please add password/pin lock to the app. When the screen is turned off and then unlocked, the app is still unlocked. This is a security concern.
I am a SpiderOak customer, and was pleased to hear they have brought on Encryptr. Great app!
Easy peasy. Sync encrypted passwords between different machines.
Been using it for a while and it just works. cross platform is a bonus

I love how easy this is to use and that I can use it on desktop or mobile. However, this app runs quite slowly when waiting for credentials to load, for example. Sometimes I try to add or delete passwords and the overlay "working" icon just sits there forever and nothing happens. If that could be fixed, this would get 5 stars.
