About DeaDBeeF Free Plugins Pack
This package contains a set of free plugins for DeaDBeeF Player.
It might require manual restart of the main application to find the plugins, using Force Close in Application settings.
Main reason why it is distributed separately is to comply with restrictions of copyleft licenses terms.
All plugins provided here are optional, and are not required for deadbeef to function properly.

Monkey's Audio decoder (APE)
GameMusicEmu (NSF,AY,SPC,GBS,GYM,VGM/VGZ,HES,KSS,SAP)
libMAD MP3 decoder
libsidplay2 SID decoder
libayemu VTX decoder
adplug player (many ADLIB music formats)
AAC+MP4 using FAAD2
WAV,SND and others using libsndfile
ALAC support using reversed decoder by David Hammerton
WMA support using heavily modified rockbox wma decoder
MMS support using libmms
SC68 Atari ST and Amiga music support (SND, SNDH, SC68 extensions)

It is a good player, I like some of its features like replay gain, gapeless playback or cue files support. Work with folders is good although not perfect. The main problem is that it drains battery much quicker than google play music. Its power consumption is extreme.

Works well but needs UI improvement. First, there could stand to be a button on the home interface that switches to the EQ w/a single button instead of having to go through the menu. Giving the option to customize the button layout in general wouldn't be a bad idea. Second, and worst is trying to scroll through the EQ. This needs either a wider scroll bar or a dead zone at the bottom to allow you to actually scroll through the EQ without accidentally changing settings. Very annoying.

WORKS well on my old HTC Legend still to this day 2017 had to use a player like this to be able to play flacs. Works well on my new HTC Desire with Bluetooth speakers, headphones and normal ear-buds. The only problem I have is that random plays the same songs each time.
