Yahoo CM Weather Provider for Android
Seems that new COS 13.1 update broke the weather display feature of the clock.
Unable to add since it is not reachable, I need to enable GPS to update the climate.. Earlier version was not like this
When I type my location it says can't retrieve your location -_-
My location is set to where I work. Doesn't seem to want or isn't able to automatically change location. I would like the ability to click refresh and it picks up my location...automatically.
If it worked correctly. For whatever reason it displays different weather conditions / temperatures to the actual yahoo weather app.
this app works too bad, it does not auto update weather info if u do not turn GPS on, choosing specified location does not work to update weather info also. dunno why. this is a shame-add-on for CM or LineageOS, totally useless.
Location finder is not working properly. When I try to change weather provider, it was not possible to add another one. So, basically we are stuck with this cheesy app.
Location has to be always switched on for weather update. This is a bug which was not there in earlier update of cyanogen. Please fix it
Read the damn title
If it says "no weather provider selected" in the snapshot, flash the latest nightly, should work then. Weather status is frozen though
Cant get the actual location in my country
After the CM13.1 update on OnePlus One, stopped working for a few days. Its working again now but it seems all settings have disappeared. It just shows the weather and auto refreshes in a while. It was way better before when the cLock had options under "Weather Panel"
This app is broken with the latest OnePlus One Over-The-Air (OTA) update. The cLock app no longer has a weather provider option and this provider now says this version is no longer compatible with my device. What is going on Cyanogen? Why have you killed the weather provider on your Cyanogen OS for OnePlus One? Also, several times a day, the weather shown on the app was way off from the actual weather in my city. Occasionally, the icon showing the weather was just a yellow question mark. This needs a lot of work.
For marshmallow users, if the weather does not come up add the cClock widget on the homescreen and select the weather provider. The weather would come up on the status bar and lock screen (if you have enabled it) Later you can remove the widget and continue to see the weather in the status bar and lock screen.
Doesn't find several big cities in Europe. Several updating issues. Lacking decent configuration options. All in all it's a useless addition to CM! (By the way: CM should know that neither in the middle of Europe - nor anywhere else on this planet - a temperature of +90° Celsius is being reached. It's winter at my location… -3°C)
Weather info provided is not correct always.. Very laggy in updating the weather info.. Definitely not satisfying... App is also abandoned I think, no update lately..
This feature rarely ever works on CM12, 13 and now 14.1. Don't waste your time.
Terrible app. It's been 90-100 degrees the past week, and never once has the app displayed a correct visual representation of the weather. Even now there's not a cloud in the sky and the app says it's raining.
Comparing with google, the weather data is correct, but since today evening, question mark shows up on the weather icon. Refreshing it doesn't help, installed it several times, but no effect.. update: 7.8.2016 : Place name appears to be wrong. Removing 1 star
Doesn't work with cLock on cyanogen OS 13.1 oneplus one. It say "can't reach yahoo weather provider at the moment". EDIT: alrigtht, it is working now but i need to turn my location on in order to get weather info. Please fix this so that i don't need to turn my location on. I want to choose a custom location.
Doesn't work for 1+1 after Android 6.1 updated. Can't access the weather automatically. Weather map stays the same since it was downloaded. Pls fix asap cause it's so annoying.
It never opens through the clock widget, and I always get a message saying 'can't reach yahoo weather provider at the moment'. There's no network problem.
Every time I refresh it , it shows the same temperature that it once last showed on a particular day. The widget is not working properly
All I get is it can't connect. Man, has the 13.1 update screwed things. I hate Cyanogen updates. Now I have to get a 3rd party app for my weather where before I just had it within my clock widget.
After upgrading to Android 6, widget stopped working. I have this seen even in the oneplus forum. It's really annoying that it says tap to refresh, but nothing happens. Fix it soon!!
Without gps on weather does not get updated this is silly. Proper update required for cm 13 and 14
Needs "location" to be able to refresh.. Otherwise pressing "refresh" does nothing.
It is showing wrong location cm13 and cm14 on moto E xt1022, though yahooweather and Google maps shows accurate location
Why I need to turn on my location for my weather..? It consumes battery . Why can't we manually set location ....?...its really disappointing
Didn't load any data until I added the cclock widget to my home screen. Still only displays Fahrenheit though so it's pretty useless for me at the moment.
Nice work after API rate restriction by Yahoo Weather API. Weather shows as per the app but need to hands on UI. This is early release and solved most of the problem. Keep it up guys.
There is no offline support. When I then off the location setting, I lose the weather notification on quick settings.
But on the homescreen, weather is controlled by widget called cLock which has its own weather settings
Does the job without any registering, install set up and forget it.
The forecasts show all temperatures in a row without any space. Formatting needs to be sorted
App doesn't work for me :(
Cant get the actual location in my country
You can switch C/F from System Settings app
Terrible app. It's been 90-100 degrees the past week, and never once has the app displayed a correct visual representation of the weather. Even now there's not a cloud in the sky and the app says it's raining.

Well, I still can't understand why people blame the app, when they are so noob to use the app.... It's working superbly fine.... Just loving it
