About Sound of Ikebana
“Sound of Ikebana: Four Seasons” will be held on 16 – 19 Jan 2014 at ArtScience Museum (ASM), Marina Bay Sands (MBS). The event will be held twice per evening: first one is at 8:25pm - 8:55pm and the second one are 9:50pm – 10:20pm. Ikebana App will display Haiku (Japanese short poems) when you point your camera to video artworks that display on three pillars of ArtScience Museum. To use the app, please visit ArtScience Museum during the event time and point the android device towards the three pillars of ArtScience Museum while app is running. The App will track several interesting image frames from the video artwork. When it identifies a particular frame in the video, it will start to show Haikus beyond that point continuously. Tracking might take few seconds to one or two minutes so hold the device until it displays Haikus. Once it recognizes, it will automatically synchronize with the video artworks, so you don’t need to point the device towards the video artwork which is shown on three pillars. Tracking is highly accurate when you can see all three pillars through your camera.
