First install took a long time to start - then when opened for first actual use it crashed. Uninstall and re-install even worse - black screen. Sorry but this app has appalling functionality :(

App has so much potential but couldn't even open. Keen to get behind this cause so will keep an eye out for the updated version.

Bugged out on opening, and cannot login. A shame, seeing as the idea seems worthwhile. Hopefully they'll improve this side of it!

I have never come across such a clunky non working app. Great idea, very disappointing reality.

Doesn't give me confidence my data will be safe. Awesome idea. Seriously deflated by the app and Web UI.

Had a little trouble getting it going at first but the support is really good you can ask for help and someone will help fix it! Great to see the vouchers pop up once you buy something at a good spend place. Great idea!

Love the idea but it comes up with 'parsing error' when I try to register after installing.

This looks like a great app and a great idea, unfortunately it won't let me register, thinks I'm offline...

Will not let me register on wifi? Needs cell reception? Like the idea though.

As a conscious consumer this app wants to invade my privacy way too much. Why does it want so many permissions?

Think you are really onto something! And beauty UI. Why don't you allow users to add pins, badges etc for new listings? Grow organically. Call them 'unverified' listings. I know some people @Vancouver who could help with this. They'd prob do it for free or you could even incentivise it. Crowdsource your legwork! Open to collaborate, tweet @HutchCMan :-)

Hopefully that will spread itself quick and bring the awareness on people on what's good and what's bad! Proud to be in New Zealand! The app really need improvements seems really slow and buggy on a galaxy s5 !

This version seem to lock up the phone for 10+ seconds when the background task is running.

Ever since I tried scanning a code, it has never let me log in. It doesn't matter if I connect it with my Facebook or connect with my email, it always says there is an unknown error parsing results. Not sure what this means or how to get around it... :/ I love the idea of the app but not getting it to work is a hassle.

Just amazing, we need more and more of this attitude promoted. The developers rule, everyone should encourage their local cafes to join :)

The app seems good, but I have two problems. (1) Evidently nobody in Christchuch have heard of the Conscious Consumers program, because there are no cafes showing on the map or when I search. and (2) I can't get the app to close! I get stuck in there and have to restart my phone. Just uninstalled it.

This app has a good heart and works well. Would like to see more stores and more diversity of shops - but that is to be expected as CC is still just starting out. Good luck!

The Conscious Consumers concept is fantastic, and now the app makes it even easier to make ethical votes with my wallet. The new app is really nice - clean and smooth, I love it. Great work CC team!

The UI looks like an iphone app rather than an android one, the back button behaves weirdly, and the map is a bit odd to use, doesn't behave like google maps. Requiring an account before you can even see things around you is quite off-putting too, and there's no obvious way to delete your account on the site. Still, if this is an early release, then things might improve over time.

The app doesn't follow any Android design standards. No immediately obvious way to turn GPS off and the app continues to run in the background with GPS on. Uninstalled.

This app leaves GPs running in the background eating up battery for nothing. Uninstalled.

Ive just downloaded it and really like its simplicity to use. I hvnt really downloaded apps before so if i can easily navigate my way around this then everyone can.awesome resource!

Love it. Definitely a great idea. The first thing I thought to do was two finger zoom the map in and out, but it doesn't support it...?

Great app, been waiting for something like this in NZ, but point off for the app not closing down easily... had to force-close. I'm sure there's more cafes in Hams that are CC?
