About Birkett Index
This App reports the health impact of long-term exposure to dangerous airborne particles (PM2.5) for the population in local areas, regions and England as a whole. The App estimates the number of deaths attributable to air pollution on a pro rata, calendar year-to-date, basis and the time to the next attributable death as well as displaying the percentage of total deaths attributable to air pollution. It does not estimate or display the number of actual deaths from air pollution or the risk for an individual. Users can also see estimates for total population-weighted exposure to annual average concentrations of PM2.5 in different local areas and/or regions relative to World Health Organisation guidelines and England as a whole

I've just downloaded it, don't know if it's incompatible with my phone but I can't add any locations - even after turning on phone location tho I'm not in the area I'd like the stats for - no joy. Can't add or edit anything so pointless except for stats for whole of England. Help!

Potentially useful app but currently not working on my sony xperia z3 with android version 5.0.2! Shame because i really wanted to check pollution levels in london areas where i go running!!

Great idea, the more info on this we can get out the better! It would be cool to have live info in the future and an estimate of personal exposure in the future.

Unfortunately this app doesn't work on my Samsung Galaxy S4. Will re-review once app working. Shame, as I was looking to help with this. EDIT Despite this and other poor reviews, there have been no developer responses, so pointless having it, and so I've uninstalled it.
