MPD Control for Android
Works well once you get used to it
Great mpd client with nicely designed interface. Donated to encourage further development. Thanks!

Good
This is the best mpd client I have found. Very easy to use and well designed.
Doesn't work with stream/webradio .m3u playlists. Streams are shown, but not playing. It just happens nothing. Tried it with three different devices (JB-MM) and playlists. M3u playlists are all ok, since mpdroid plays all the streams.
The only missing feature is a lack of dark skin, hence the four stars, but still worth to donate.
The best mpd client I've found on Android. The killer feature for me is that it is easy to set up multiple mpd servers and switch between them from the slide out menu.
Can only list library by artist. No option to use "Album Artist" tag. Cannot handle album names with in tag. No dark interface option.
Works stable, intuitive GUI, very nice work ! Thanks so much for coding it !!

Smoother than the rest. Thanks.:)
Pretty good
Works perfectly for me, and love the UPNP discovery of servers. Well done!
I originally gave this a lower score because of how many steps it required to change player outputs. The developer replied saying they would add an easier method. As promised, now it just requires a tap in the top left to bring up an easy to use menu that allows for fast output switching. Thanks! This is my current go-to MPD player now! Great app!

Missing feature: library just as a list of albums. Auto play option at selecting music adding the first output
It's OK, but constantly sends notifications asking for donations even if you don't use the app. That's pretty annoying.
... Hard to say anything else... Android 5.1 on oneplus 2.. I'll change rating if it starts working in the future
I'm Really Missing an add Artist option. You can't access all options (including donate) when not connected to a server. And a lockscreen and Notice drawer Control would be awesome. Other then that more stable and responsive then other apps I tried.
It's perfect
I couldn't browse by album or file. Big time deal breaker for me.
Now it begs for donations.
But much to improve in stability. And now adding to playlist from library doesn't suddenly work anymore.
It's great in retrieve db and control over mpd. I liked album art loading. But the problem is about not having library view in directory mode
I've tried 6 Android MPD clients. Mostly I was just looking for a "remote" to play music. Not looking for anything to try to manage my music -- I'll use a desktop app for that. MPD Control is the clear winner for me. Easy and fairly intuitive to use (which is big because none of them seem to have any user documentation).
It's perfect
Would be nice to have ability to save playlists
It only browses the library by artist. That's no good to me cos a lot of my stuff is classical, so the artist field might be the composer or the performer, leading to general chaos. I want it by file system cos I know where I put the stuff.
This has the makings to be the best mpd remote for android. It just needs a little more of the functionality that other remotes have. For example, the ability to turn consume mode on and off, and browsing music by more than just artist. What it does currently do it does very well with a nice functional interface. I look forward to seeing how it progresses.
Search only use the "Filename" criteria. When you only have access to a remote library (Spotify through Mopidy), no results are ever found.
Just worked out-of-the-box. Easy to use, but functionality could do with expanding to cover all mpc commands. Also, it usually displays the wrong album cover.
Great app - developer responded quickly and got issues sorted. Recommend for anyone looking for a MPD client.
Thanks for the update!
Hangs on huge library. Lacks the file list view
I switch my Outputs all the time so it would be great if it wasn't so many levels into the menu. Otherwise great mpd alternative.

Looks nice. How does the radio tab work?

Intuitive user interface. Great performance. Unclear how to backup playlists.
