Center for Food Safety for Android
It should scan a product's bar code. Outcome with ingredients.
Will not work with my phone
It's fine. Try setting up on a computer first rather than phone- at least for Android.
Looked forward to utilizing this tool. However, doesn't work on Samsung Galaxy S5. Software needs updating.
I have an HTC one, and it doesn't have a separate menu button, but there is a menu icon in the center of the bottom of the screen. People could at least make an effort before whining.
There is a tip that says where to click. But the where is nowhere to be found. Boo hoo. Don't wanna eat GMO. Galaxy 5 and not marshmallow yet.
Menu button doesn't work and therefor cannot use app for pretty much the main utility
Would be awesome if it had its own menu button.
Works fine on my phone (use your "settings" button for the main menu on the app.) Lots of info and listings and unlike most other apps actually lists stores and brands commonly seen in my area of the country!
Cant get inside to see all the good info. Samsung S5 and Samsung pro 12
Very well laid out and so much useful information.
This sux. Note 4
I can't access the shoppers guide on my s5. It says to use a certain button, I tried every button I have and all they do is close the app.
My HTC One has no separate menu button, so I'm unable to access anything other than the main screen. Uninstalling.
Truth hurts
Lots of info, but they are so very deep inside difficult to find them.
You are all idiots. You give a 1 star because you are too stupid to navigate this app. You should give yourself a 1 star. This app gives brands of food, separated by type of food, that are not gmo, and even some brands that may be gmo. Its a good app, but really, just go organic and you wont have to worry. If you think organic is too expensive, then just go on being a voluntary lab rat for the fda. By the way you might want to buy salmon from costco, its the first fda approved gmo meat on the market
and how is this supposed to help us? shoppers guide doesn't even show up on my galaxy s
Does this app tell what's in Canadian food? Thanks in advance
Terrible and old design. Please update with current Android design guidelines.
App is very informative about GMOs and how to look and shop for non-gmo foods. App also offers awsome news updates on the on going battle to fight gmo labeling however its not an interactive app that helps you sort out GMO and non-GMO foods/brands while shopping therefore gets an average rating. Its a good app, just not above average so it get 3 stars.
This app does help a person who is new to avoiding GM ingredients to navigate the murky waters. It does not, however, help if you are trying to avoid buying from companies who profit largely from GMO's and who contributed to the campaigns against GM labeling. For that I would suggest Buycott or Fooducate, both much more comprehensive than this app.
