Handwriting plays an important role in developing a child's self-confidence and cognitive development – especially for K–3 children who take pride in mastering this important life skill.
Cambridge University Press is the UK’s leading publisher of handwriting resources and has created the Cambridge Handwriting at Home books to inspire American children to write at a time when instruction in cursive is being increasingly left up to parents.
This free app allows children to hold a mobile device over the books and see and hear the patterns and letters come to life on the page. They can copy the pen movements as they watch.
