English Grammar in Use

Installed twice, the first time tooks ages to download the all sections and after one night downloading hasn't finish. The second time tooks 10 minutes and now it works. There are some bug that has to be fixed, I cannot see the images in some sections. Long story short I think is a good app.

I would like to rate it ok, but after installing the free ver, i bought two additional perfect tense modules and they just wouldn't download. I sent a request to the message center, but haven't gotten any reply so far. Not an attitude I would expect from a Cambridge unit. Thank you.

It's a great app - the best English grammar app I've come across! I had initial problems downloading the paid-for material, but since I uninstalled it and then installed it again it has worked fine. What I particularly like are the links to other units at the bottom of each unit!

Don't buy this application. This is extremely scam. I bought it and I paid £13 but after several times I can't see any image which is explain unit. Nothing working very well. Also I sent them an email to get refund but they didn't do that. After that I have complained about them to Google but still I couldn't get my refund.

It's a good Grammar app .. and handy for many school students but it's not a full-fledged grammar app and misses out many important topics and does not deal with the topics in detail ... So it's not that good for advanced students.. I mean for College students who want to know every little things .. .. but great and almost excellent app for school students ... With the Exercise activities the app is a real charm for English learners ..

Fellas, who mad at this app cause can't see picture in purchased chapters. You guys would better go to android application menu. And then find Grammar in use, and erase it's data.

Exceedingly well elaborated app, concise & comprehensive contents! But there is a big but, the audio content of the purchased app is getting damaged time after time. I'm​ fed up of reinstalling again and again. The support services haven't come round to fixing this annoying bug yet. Pending until proper handling this serious ! issue I can't keep on recommending this actually brilliant app.

I bought some parts of the exercise this afternoon. Some of them have already been downloaded. I still have one part that couldn't work when I was trying to download them. Please help me to solve this problem. Thank you.

I have to download the content every single use this app. I spent a lot money, it should be fixed immediately! I can't see a pictures and sound marks.

Love it but you have to check all answers manually. I'd love it if I could do it all at once, at the Unit overview (tick off screen). Also, where is the Advanced edition? This is too easy...

It is a very useful and helpful app. I really like it! :) But...I can't see the pictures and hear the voice recordings except your first example section... can you explain what is the reason and fix it for me??

I bought all levels and got only one!!! Why Cambridge why? One has such respect for this institution, didn't expect to be ripped of like that! Update: I uninstalled and reinstalled it and the issue was fixed. Thanx! I updated my rating to five stars now :)

It's better now! Still with downloads issues some of the units failed to install when bought the application, but the material itself is good to learning I would keep the app until finish the book.

Some workarounds for issues of using the app. (1) Failed to download some of the purchased units. >> Re-install the app and let it re-download all the purchased units. I've tried many times to just re-download those incomplete units, but all failed. (2) Picture and sound button disappear for purchased units. >> The app stores the purchased units under “Android/data/org.cambridge.englishgrammar.egiu/cache” directory, Android treats this directory as cache and sometime automatically deletes all the content under it. Try to find the Android setting to turn off the automatic cleanup of system cache in your phone. If you really can't find the setting and don't want to re-install it from time to time, make a backup of this directory and restore it in case it's cleaned up. Hope the developer could fix these issues and make the app even better.

It is an excellent application, but not all meterials were downloaded so I am not able to utilize it completely :( Attempt to download it again was not successful. Probably, reinstall will help

In the beginning I had problems installing this app. And I thought I wasted my money. But I deleted the app and reinstalled it again. The book is great, but the app is greater! This app can't replace you the book, but it is a great addition to the book. I don't regret spending money on it! It is worth buying!

In this nothing new method... U gave lessons in very short. Nothing new in this...after some units it says to purchase..I don't think to purchase this boring method. It is still boring method. I was founding something new and exiting way to learn more about this language.. But ...I could say I am disappointed.

The app is grate! But I couldn't find the first tutorial. I think in this one the explanations are too difficult for those who've just started learning English. So in this case I can't recommend it to some friends of mine.But I really loved the idea of dubbing sentences by native speakers!

Idk why i lost some pictures and the audio didnt work. I re installed but it keeps saying one or more unit failed to download fully, can u help me to fix it??

There were some problems with sounds. They disappead. I didn't know what to do. I tried to install app again, and it became ok!!! And I can enjoy now!

I bought the whole app but I couldn't have the access, When I try to download it fails every time, I sent a feedback in the app telling my problem, but i got no answer. I'm really disappointed

As everyone else has said multiple times this application just doesn't work. It loads the free content only. To access the content you have paid for you have to uninstall and reinstall the application every single TIME!!! It's a shame!!!

Like it.. I had problems by downloading.. After one day the problem was just solved!!.. I'm enjoying English grammar :)

If I purchased this apps, but if my mobile will be out of work. Can I keep the apps for the new mobile for installation.

Guys i would have given five rightous stars but the app has ABIG problem with the purchased lessons , everyday all the images of the lesson corrupt , and i have to spend ages to redownload it again , and i need it for my studies and it really wastes my time , kindly i need a solution asap

This app has a lot of little bugs that could be annoying, however, the quality of the sections and the exercises are awesome. If you are patience and want to improve your english grammar this is the best option.

My first attempt to purchase failed but money deducted from back account .Still the customer care executive says that it would be back to account within 1to 14days . Still waiting for it . But I purchased it now again and When I checked it , I understand that the user interface is little difficult to use . Detailed grammar explanation is not found . Exercise is ok ,But totally it is not worth of money I paid . Doevelopers have to work hard to improve its user interface and to add detailed grammar explanation for each topic . Then it will be useful to all non-English speakers and native speakers as well.

I liked it! But It's damaged every time. Sound files and pictures disappeared. Why happens this? I had to reinstall it again every time!

Cannot move the app to sd card. Uninstalling it and will keep 1 star until the issue is resolved

I PAID FOR FULL VERSION AND AS MANY OTHERS WHO HAVE COMMENTED HERE I FIND MANY PICTURES AND AUDIOS MISSING... Technical support (check description) just told me to reinstall using different wifi from initial installation. We'll see

I bought all units in this app, but it doesn't work properly. All pictures in purchased lessons don't load. I need reinstall app before every launching. Please fix it or return my money.

I rated it 5 star because I really want the way they organized the topic.Also,the topic covered were very helpful knowing that all topic were really the most important part of studying English grammar.

I purchased all levels but not able to use anyone. All levels give error. Please fix your application I uninstalled 5th times and installed 6th times but result is same

I purchased my application but I can't use all module because many items or pictures +voices don't play. Please advise

I have completed 24 units of it but, If I try to exercise 4 into 24 unit application gets crash unexpectedly despite I have reinstall it again. But the issue is still remaining. Kindly Fix it up I will be grateful to you, all together app is ultimate with good illustration.

I am reinstalling this app 5th time because of missing images and because I purchased all levels. It seems, the app stores images in cache which Android cleans time to time and application does not update them. It is easy to reproduce, install app, purchase levels, clean Android cache. Update after passing 26 units to 1star. Great idea buggy implementation. Many exercises just crash.
