English Pronouncing Dictionary for Android
What's the point of letting us download for free if the first thing we have to do is pay to use it? Really scummy!
I thought I am getting the dictionary with British pronunciations, but when I paid 13USD I noticed its just bunch of words pronunciation only. I am very disappointed but don't know how to get refunded.
It will not let you trial it except for a few terms, and asks for a lot of money to get a full version. I am currently using an online version of it which is free so why should I pay to have the same funcionality if it is free online.
Garbage, just an app to tell you to buy in order you can use it. Install and uninstall immediately.
Thanks for lying. Who the hell is behind this how could the Cambridge university stoop so low :(
I realy hate it...what a bullshit u made....it waste my internet mb....its such useless app...without payment no such result found of word's meaning
Very disappointed! I use the Cambridge Dictionary website almost every day but the app is useless unless you pay :(
you are such a liar, why did you allow me downlad it while you don't want me to use it? I hate you so much.
You should give free but showing free asking money.
After you download it. It immediately asks you to pay for the book
Why haven't you warned us previously that it should be paid once it was bought?
If you allow us to download it then for God sake why the hell on earth you dont allow us to get the meaning of words
Downloaded and then asked to try or buy. I chose try but still unable to use. ..uninstalling
Does not allow me to look up for words and states I have to pay 700 rs to use it. Uninstalling.
Why on earth would you let me download if it's not free
Why pretend it is free when the first screen one sees is asking for a payment?
Doesn't tell the meaning even with good internet connection only asks for purchase
Its totally waste of time....its asking for the purchased__no offline dictionery....
It's not good and you have to pay for it
The best pronouncing dictionary ever, great help for learners of English. Warning: no definitions, "just" pronunciation
I don't get it why many people are complaining about this app. This app is almost perfect. It provides two different pronunciations - American and British with phonetic alphabets. It allows you to make flashcards on its newest update. It also explains when you pronounce particular words differently. I have been using this app for more than a year and it's helped me to improve my pronunciation. I've never encountered any problems. This app is worth buying. Those people who have problems with this app either have something wrong with their phones or they are not willing to pay. I highly recommend this app for English language learners.
Man what the hack? How could play store put this into free section?
It's not a free version even there is no trial
Bad app
Idk
deceiving
remember to read in TINY print under the Cambridge arms 'for phones only'. it won't work on a tablet. 1 star for attempting to hide the skid mark on their shorts.
Very useful with pronunciation entries for every word. (Easier, easiest, etc.) Unique!
It is not up to standard like the one on the computer system. It lacks one important feature which is the feature that has all the 44 phonetic. I am a diction teacher so I was thinking I could use it for e-learning when the battery of my system goes down, but due to the unavailability of the said feature, it is limited, and as such, it doesn't fit or serve the purpose. I would have bought it using my credit card but it will be a waste.
I wanted to install cambridge advanced learners dictionary and found this dictionary, i paid 10 usd but only pronunciation, no definition! No phonetic symbol... Regret to have paid for this
Paying 8.5 pounds for no definition and spelling support is very disappointing! why on earth paying for this app only to learn pronunciation ?
Because it is showing free but after installing asking to pay above rs600, really cambridge University deceiving people
Ive always used Cambridge dictionary as an online source but this mobile app is BS! Its NOT free, it installs for free and then asks you to pay in order to access anything other than a list of words. LEO is a much better model of what a dictionary app should be, its free but your premium service removed ads and adds functions.
This dictionary don't worth the deal. Just pronunciation without any definition. I very disappointed, I feel like being cheated.
If it's not free . You don't say it's free
Buy app from Oxford University Press instead.
Don't say free when you want to charge ! Don't waste our time!
It helps me whenever I need
I wanted advanced learners but there is just one dictionary available
