About Hangouts Alerts
Hangouts Alerts is a program that notifies you when your friends are online. It also tells you, when you connect, who is online. With Hangouts Alerts you can personalize the way you receive notifications. You can choose custom ringtones or use the voice synthesizer.

This app does not update/notify as reliably or quickly on my current Galaxy S7 vs S5. Have intervals set at 1 minute. Sometimes it will miss online alerts completely. App priority? Really like this app otherwise.

Installed to a Galaxy Note 3 and it is mostly working as intended. Not getting any of the ringtones when an alert comes through. Neither the default nor any personalized. And the repeated notifications are redundant. One per change would be better, but I still very much like it.

The App is great and does what it advertised to do. The only thing I would change is to have it give notifications when there is a status change. As it is now, it creates a notification every time it checks at preset intervals. If it checks status every minute, it creates a notification every minute. It would be great to only get notifications on status changes. Ex, User XYZ changed status from offline to available, or user XYZ changed status from away to available.

This is the second time I downloaded it and tried it. And it does not work at all. And that is on lollipop 5.1 if it doesn't work on that it pretty much doesn't work. If you ever make a real app that works let me know
