Disable ADB USB Charging ROOT for Android
It only works on rooted phones. It's well advertised. Maybe you think it's not working because the icon says so, but I've tested with powertop and the battery discharge changes considerably when off.
This work for second time pressed disable button. Can you say a little bit about the method you did ? I worry is it harmful for my devices ?
Exactly what I was looking for. It's working on my old OnePlus One. I use it as a development device, often leaving it plugged in for hours on end. I know that modern batteries and devices are designed to prevent overcharging and wear, but I'd still prefer to be on the safe side while leaving it plugged in for hours every day. Hopefully this can extend the life of my device, even if only slightly.
Doesn't work on rooted GS5 on 6.0.1. it says charging has stopped, but phone continues to charge until full. I wanted this to stop draining the Mavic controller. Wasted my money
Aside from flashing up a toast saying "Charging stopped" or "charging started" this doesn't seem to do anything on my rooted n5 (android 6.0.1). Ampere reports no change in charge rate in either state, just as I can see the battery percentage continue to increase while the charger is plugged in. Pity
Hi, unfortunately it doesn't seems to work on my rooted 5.0.1 Galaxy S4 (i9505). anyone else tried on S4?
IT DOESN'T EVEN WORK, WASTE OF TIME
Sony z3 compact. Running Windows teathering because my desktop doesn't have WiFi. Works fine!
Works great for rooted devices, don't let negative reviews confuse you.
Doesn't work.
Not working on s7 edge
S6 egde rooted. Not working.
Nothing works .
Does not work on S7, nor S7 edge.
The paid version just works for me, thankyou dev for making such a good app
Works fine in my Huawei Honor 5x but oddly enough it doesn't on my Moto G falcon... Still love the app though
Doesn't work
Good job man!

To make it work, I have to press disable several times after I plugged it into the charger. Instead of the app disabling the charge, it works more like my phone is running on AC power.
