SMS Backup

Downloads my SMS history and automatically puts them in alphabetical and chronological order. That means I can see ALL of the texts from my crazy ex-wife in order of conversation (date and time), opposed to searching for texts from her mixed in with all the other texts from other people I communicate with in between texting her. With this app I get a clean, ordered list by default! Wooo!! Running a Note 3 with Kitkat 4.4.2

Looks like a good app. Looks easy to use also. It doesn't work with Lollipop so I can't use it unfortunately. Will check for Lollipop update in the future and try it again.

After I've completed the procedure to restore the messages, I've received the confirmation for complete restoring but.....are the messages restored in the sky? Because they are not in my mobile....something is wrong with that app and I've lost almost 2500 messages...and I'm completely disappointed in the market there are not checked apps...

Ok..after 2 days my search is over. Have a B.B. Z10 that I'm using sometimes so I wanted to transfer the SMS from there onto my Samsung Galaxy S3. No other SMS app is capable of actualy merging the BB saved SMS files with the actual messages on my S3. Over 800 SMS merged in just seconds! Great job and thank you !!! On a second note, would it be possible not to have messages reloaded multiple times?

Kyle Lawson, Why on earth would you factory reset your phone without first checking to see if your sms's were backed up correctly and you could open the backup first before resetting your phone? I would never reset my phone until I have opened everything I backed up first and check to see if it worked or not. I would have to say that it was not an issue of this sms backup app as it is your responsibility to make sure that all your items & apps you wanted saved are backed up and stored in the proper cloud, emailed to yourself & that you can "open the file" w/o seeing that "error message that you cannot open this file or file doesn't exist" error message after you back it up or delete anything off your phone UNTIL YOU HAVE LOOKED TO MAKE SURE IT IS DONE PROPERLY before any type of reset is ever done. I hope this info helps save you future frustrations and serves as a reminder to check your backup's before YOU RESET YOUR PHONE. I've been there and know all too well your frustrations & anger you went through knowing your important messages were not properly backed up & your rage when you cannot open that file or see message that "this file doesn't exist". I try to restore my text and it did no restore it said load complete but when i go check my text there are not back there

I did a backup of my texts so that I can do a factory reset. As it turns out when I went to restore the texts, all I get is an error message, saying that it can't open the backup file.

I Have Never so Far rated any app but this straightly goes the best..

My experience with it on a lg Google nexus 4 it only backs up your side of the text messages, making it useless.

This app ruined my life. Should have known better than to trust these people. Could not restore, could not view file with a computer

Works like a charm, very simple, and doesn't require the internet! (To much malware not to be careful)

I was a big fan of it as it worked fantastic for my HTC Desire. Now it does not work at HTC One X.

Saved to SD card, and it acted like it was saving it, but when I moved it to the new phone, the file didn't have anything in it. Lost all my texts.

This app sucks cant retrieve my messages.

Do not restore messages from backup files sized more than 130kb, at least in my case all backups 300kb and 1500 kb have not been read, if software is still supported , appropriate if this issue is fixed.

Works well! Never receive errors. I recommend moving the sms backup folder to your sd card using a file manager
